I will do. I was supposed to be visiting Tokyo briefly this week and was going to try and find a 25A or a 1A Canon Fodder. It didn't happen though cos my wife is sick unfortunately.

It really was a zoo this morning. I count myself pretty lucky to have gotten one at HLJ. I was hoping (like others) to get one in the first round at NY since their shipping is cheap and they usually don't declare the full value so I'd save on import duty. Because of that, I took my time checking out of HLJ while refreshing NY. In the end I bit the bullet and checked it out because I felt I was playing with fire. I was still awake when NY did come up, but just like Amiami and Hobbysearch never even saw an "add to cart" button, just straight to sold out.

I did when I was a kid who only understood the VF-1 concept in terms of my Jetfire transformer. Now that I understand, I love Gerwalk.

Of all the "things" I own, my Valks are the things that give me greatest pleasure to gaze upon. Be it sitting in my display case or on a flighpose next to my TV (they get cycled), they are to be appreciated imop. If you're just gonna look at the box, then why not download pics of said boxes and save yourself $$$........

TBH, as cool as their colour schemes are, I prefer schemes seen in the series. Still a sucker for the SVF-569 Lightnings scheme on the Hasegawa model though

Wow. Didn't (but probably shoulda) seen this coming. Those first pics of Battdroid alone make me wanna buy it without further consideration. As much as I love my Arcadia -19 (and I really really do) I will have to buy this one too on the off chance it looks better in any of the 3 modes! I've got 3 Yamarcadia Valks and 3 plus one on order Bandai iterations and I have to say my preference on finish is with the Bandai ones. Looking at my YF-19 beside my VF-25F (both panel lined) the Bandai Valk just jumps out at me more. More texture (greater and deeper panel line detail) more glossy finish (not necessarily a good thing but makes it pop a little more) The design of the -25 is sleeker but -19 is still my favourite, so I'll be hopeful Bandai can make fighter mode even sleeker looking than Arcadia could manage. Do I care that my $300 Arcadia Valk will be superceeded by a (potentially) superior model, not really. Am I happy that the possibility of an even better interpretation of the coolest (imop) looking Valk in Macross history exists? You betcha. After all, what else would I spend my money on?!?!?! edit added "(potentially)"

Don't delay, I bought this one as a rerelease but the prices for the original release were sky high before that. They've also re released the FFR-41 which I already have (I paid a fortune for it on eBay not suspecting a rerelease was round the corner) They are beautifully made and finished I have to say but I was surprised that they were all plastic. Thought there would be more metal. Not that it bothers me, you just have to handle them carefully - especially when adding armament or putting the landing gear pieces on. -
