HLJ - I have store credit with them after my -19ADV was delivered damaged. Come to think of it, I think I've ordered almost half of my Valks from them.

Problem is 1 as you mentioned. No tab on the tailfin. The hinge on the leg does have a hole but it's distorted and almost looks like it has superglue on it. I've taken the 20%. Gone away for the weekend with my wife so I missed the stock at amiami earlier otherwise I might have sent it back. Although given Momar's experience with them and similar issues with his Arcadia bird I'm kinda glad that decision was taken out of my hands.

HLJ got back and offered either a full refund if I send it back or a 20% refund if I keep it. As they have no stock they can't replace it obviously. I'm torn on whether to pay an inflated price from another store that still has stock (and let's face it, might have similar issues without HLJ's customer service) or to keep it. I know the tail issue is not the end of the world but my last 2 Valks have come out of the box broken and it kinda takes the shine off. #slightlybummed

Yeah that's pretty much it. Hope they get back to me alright but since they're sold out a replacement is unlikely. Hopefully they might be able to source a new tail for me............maybe........but we all know the likelihood of this is low.

Did you manage to sort the shield tilting up towards the back? I've got mine in hand now (arrived from HLJ with savage import duty) and while mine isn't a gappy mess out of the box, there is some disappointment. The left hand vertical (ok not vertical but you know what i mean) stabiliser fell off as soon as I unfolded it. It doesn't stay on right and every time i move it, it gets loose if it doesn't fall off completely. Considering a polite complaint letter to HLJ. Design wise: I agree with previous posters on the canards, they don't tilt up enough. I dont understand why the tabs for the lower part of the wing glove are so low, leaving the wide gaps at the back as previously mentioned. Unnecessary. I feel like this is a slightly rushed Ver.1 and that a "Renewal" version will probably address many of the issues. I'm a little bummed at the tail/stabiliser issue but I like the feel and look of the toy. The tampo is glorious, the colour and finish is good. I love the landing gear (even though it's fiddly as hell to get the nose wheel out). Now dare I transform it?

Yikes, that is unbelievable. I don't understand why they take so long to determine the charging, I mean HLJ have declared the full value - add the shipping and do the maths! How hard can it be?

Mine has been stuck in customs for 2 days now. Now it's the weekend. Gonna be Wednesday at best before I get my paws on it.

Thanks Spanner, yeah it's a C63. I've been wanting one since the car was launched, but was only finally able to afford it recently. It's so freaking awesome. Every time I start it, I grin a big cheesy grin.

The transformation from Gerwalk to Battroid scares me a little. Like barurutor mentioned above, lots of fiddly bits. I think mine will stay in fighter for quite a while before I work up the courage to transform it. C'mon HLJ, I've got 3 other things in my Private Warehouse, I just need this to complete the shipment!!
