Why? I already did that for you!! But I know what you mean. I can't stop watching it.....and thinking this could be a fragile toy when we get our hands on it. This might be the first Valk that I like the GERWALK and Battroid more than the Fighter - That's not to say the fighter isn't cool though. Gotta say I'm loving all the GERWALK action in Delta. 31 and 262 both looking great.

I'm not seeing death flags on Mikumo just yet. I'm also not sure that she's an android/implanted up/clone type necessarily. Looking at this (slightly NSFW) official art https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/2326797?tags=macross_delta her hair design seems to suggest mermaid like fins. Could it be that (since nobody seems to know where she lives) that she's from Ragna and she lives under the sea and we just haven't seen her gills yet?? Mikumo - queen of mercats.... Edit - and the last bit of her name is "mer" - coincidence? Or am I reaching?!

When I first watched Frontier, I was a little skeptical of the nose design on the -25. It was very obviously channeling a Su-27 vibe and I wasn't sure how well the whole design stood up. Having said that, it very quickly grew on me (I love the Flanker anyway so it wasn't a huge stretch) The VF-30's nose is what kills the fighter mode of that Valk for me. Much of the art and the anime (like the opening sequence of Frontier) plays on that drooping nose aspect as if the Valk is flying with some alpha on - and I love that. Although you don't get that sense from the -30, the -31's nose profile works this well and thus I must love it! Bring on the Dx's!!

While I'm still very much in the -31A camp I think Mirage's -31C has overtaken Delta 02's -31F. Mostly because so far Messer has proven to be a miserable bastard 😝 Mirage went up sharply in my estimation after her reaction to Hayate following their training mission at the end of ep03

I remember well the uproar in the Ace Combat community when the itasha fighters showed up. If memory serves I think I bought the Tomcat with Asuza on it (because I'll buy any Tomcat mostly). It was certainly divisive. Although they didn't offend me, many felt......different shall we say?!
