First of all sorry for causing you all the trouble, Lionell. I told you I was and still am very busy.
2.Can't charged you anything if I don't know what will have to be done on the kit or anything else.
3. You should have found out that I'm not building modelkits for financial benefit. It's all about craftmanship, challange and the "I try do better"-thing...enthusiasm.
And 4. There are no reasons for me to keep your kit. I have a whole room full of modelkits and a well paid job for buying even more crap made of oil. And there it is. Well paid is the cause, and also means that I am indispensable for the company. Hope it'll change once the caterpillars starts moving some soil.
It's quite hard for me to share some spare time for building modelkits at the moment. Allthought, "at the moment" lasts since last year October. You will get your kit like I wrote before. Don't want to make any promises about the exact time. You know that it will end like all those other apoligies/PM's if anything didn't worked out like planed.
I might have to cancel a few ideas and reduce the whole build to a minimum which I can tell you, won't satisfy me in any kind a way. But it will ensure you'll get $1**L sooner.
5.Yeah my english sucks just like my sense of time.

Kawamori's take on Yukikaze for Ace Combat Assault Horizon won't win a beauty contest but it will become physicaly surgeonable according to Hasegawa.
What you need to know is...it's an 1/72 scale plastic kit, and will be released somewhen around July this year. No price yet. I hope they'll print a Ver. Kei Nagase decals set cause the plain JASDF scheme is quite dull.

Indeed. Thorsten's project looked so close to finalising I wonder why he never finished it.
Some people demanded Galactica Vipers instead.

Oh my, what have I done...
It looks better than I expected. Really done a great job and it's a nice change to all these Pak-Fa and Su-35 splitter camo valk.
I would say it# on par with the idolmaster Thunderbolt collection
...well there is this new camo scheme for the new Su-35S which might look nice on a SV-51

Thanks for the reminder. Didn't knew that vol. 3 was available already.

If you look at some of the anniversary and Tiger Meet schemes of real life fighters, it's really not all that unrealistic.
See links below.

How about some non tiger meet paint schemes ?
Black skeleton monster Tornado

The 1/100 scale pilot figures are 1/160 scale they perfectly fit into Dragon/DML's 1/144 model kit series. Alto is a bit shorter than a Wave 144 mobile staff figure.

back ...nice avatar... maybe one day I try to do another one made of FIMO.

Wait a minute, you're on Macross World & don't know how to spell "Shoji Kawamori" ?!?!
Oh, crap!!! Please don't tell my mom

It's a snap-fit kit. HJL wants you to buy some modelling supplies.

I'm going to say this now: DON'T paint the area under the airbrakes white. I'd bet a lot of money that everybody at Hasegawa has only said/done so because of the zillion incorrect model kits in the world of real jet fighters. They were probably trying to be "realistic" and copy the infamous "white airbrake housings" of the F-15 and F-18. Just like most any reference source you find on those jets do.
Except that, that's wrong. Real F-15's and F-18's use the same color for the airbrake interiors and housings as the surrounding camoflage. Not white.
(the Tornado is often cited as a counter-example, but it too actually uses grey--a pale grey to be sure, that contrasts with the camo---but it's not white)
The insides of the Mitsubishi F-2 and Kawasaki T-4 airbreaks are white just like many other japanese jets. Oh, and VF-0, VF-1, QF-3000 are white underneath their airbreaks too.

IMHO you should branch out and try some of the newer Fulcrum schemes.
When you mentioned newer Fulcrum paint schemes I had something like this in mind.

Thin stickers like the ones Bandai provide with their regular Gundam kits.

I Like what I see in detail close up #4 holes for...FAST packs ?! Thank you for the posting that scan ahiachris.

I've been forceing myself into building something from my backlog but ended up toying with a YF-29 kit. Have to admit that this is a really great kit engineering wise. Except for a few places like the canopy and nose cone dividing line, this kit looks great OOB, even if it's only snap fitted. I still don't like it's design, but I'm working on this point.
@Petar congratulations for placing first in the SSM Starfighter competition. The WIP stages of your Homeworld cannon fodder were already awesome and it definitely deserved the 1st place.

I bought an old Imai kit quite cheap for restoration 2 months ago but don't have time to finish it. Haven't tounched it in a month and sadly I won't have time for it these holidays. So if anyone need some suggestions for improvements feel free to adapt some of mine or use it for inspiration.
My 10 steps Monster work out...which didn't worked out at all.

Don't like its design but it sure looks like a nice kit for butchering.

Cool, novel#2. I still have to read the first one.
Anyway, new test shot photos of Platz's new 1/144 FRX-00 Yukikaze on GA Graphic.
And yeah, it looks better than Bandai's 1/100 Ex Model.

Yellowing of plastics happens due to UV light exposure. If you keep the boxes shut there shouldn't be any problems. The bigger problem would be the prevention of decals yellowing. Make sure to seal your decals in a dry and light impermeable sleeve or bag.

The picture speaks for itself.
Thanks for watching.
