I'd love to.  I've already done a cursory search for some timed scripts that I could tweak.  But so far, I haven't found anything.  And my Japanese is non-existent, so I wouldn't be able to time them myself with any accuracy.

Hello Hurin. I just want to lend my support and say I think it's great what you're doing. I would like to encourage you to consider running a subbing business. If you do not know japanese I think it would be a good idea check around the forums and see if anyone either here at MW or at other anime boards would be interested in helping you with the business. I can tell you one thing here and now. If you could get perfect rips from the original Macross Zero dvds and put good to excellent subs on them, I would be the first one in line willing to pay around $20 for the dvd!

I would also like you to consider DragonBall Z as well. The first season of DBZ is not subbed and Funkimation is taking their sweet time doing them, at like 1 disc every three months. At this rate it will be 2012 before we see the whole DBZ first season subbed.

Yes, it's a great idea.

BUT

That would be bootlegging, and ripping the Japanese DVD's to sell subbed ones is Pirating. And may be charged under the fullest extent of the Law.

Now, how bootleggers get away with it, I've no clue. But if there's one thing that this board does not, is condone Pirating.

Now, what Hurin had done is just provide the scripts, and it's up to us to get the DVDs (legit or bootleg), and to just apply them. Which is nothing wrong, since the risk if to ourselves only and not to Hurin.

And besides, if Hurin would start up a business, then he would have to pay for the rights, like any other legit subbing/dubbing business. And you'd be back to square one, with things like delays, etc., and all the problems those other legit business have now.

And if Hurin does not pay for those rights, then he's in for a world of hurt.

Down payment already sent, last week. Yeah, I was working 12 hrs shifts, and couldn't post until now.

The Yamato 1/48 toys come with the Budweiser and Octopus stickers ready to place on the micro-missiles so you can recreate that scene in perfect detail.

However, the label design they used for the toys is the more modern one which differs from the 80's version as appears in the movie, so it's not exactly 100% accurate, but if you're gonna be anal about THAT...  

You mean those micro missiles in the HMMP-02 micro-missile launcher pods? Just wrap the sticker around one of those tiny missiles?

And what's even funnier is the fact that I didn't know which missiles people were talking about. I first thought those stickers goes on those huge RMS-1 reaction missiles to replace where the red triangle type stickers go, and I said to myself, "How the heck does that make it look like cans we see flying across the screen?!".

Well now I know. HAHA!

So, I wonder which HG employee drew these....hmmm....

In episode 3 after Focker rams the armored Battroid and lauches it missiles against Ivanov, the gunpod magically appear to shoot down the missiles that are coming back to him.

The TV series and Plus(I think) did that frequently.

By the comparision pics, if they incorporated some elements from the SHE (canopy - or make it the whole fuselage from the canard wings right behind the cockpit to the nose, and collapsable legs) and increased the size to 1/60 or 1/55, then I'm all over it like a fat kid on chocolate.
