It reminds me of the plane from "Darkwing Duck", man I used to watch that show all the time...
Still though, awesome background, thumbs up.

IIRC that's the scheme her valk has in M7, I know that at least the face was colored that way. I don't really remember for the hands.
-
Wow... That's definetly run over. Unless they have someone who wieghs like 300lbs and had them sit on it, I guess that could be it. Who knows, either way, you got jacked this time. Really hope you can get that refund!

Did anybody else see that? This isn't a good thing...

The worst thing to ever happen to my yammies is when I first got the Miria 1/48 I put it into battroid and set it down in front of my 18" Spider-Man, which I might add had been recently re-posed. I leave my room to get somthing from the kitchen, and I come back, and Spidey had fallen over, and his extended leg had punted the Miria 1/48 onto the floor. Luckily I have carpet and it was only about a three foot fall, but to come back into my room with Miria on the floor... it scared the piss outta me. Today's lesson... Don't put anything of value in front of Spidey.

Whoa...can't wait for these... I wonder when they'll be up for preorder...

Looking good!

I'm still in high school and don't often have more that $80, saving to get anything Yamato (other than the 1/60's) and keep a fairly active social life is a bit of an endevor. So if this thing was around $100, that would be really, really great.

I think that RichterX is right, the FAST packs don't work in atmosphere. If they wanted any kind of functions the ELINTseeker could have performed, then they would have to have the radome mounted to the valk itself. And the only part of valk that wouldn't be obstructed during transformation would be where wolfx thought that it would be; on that panel that opens for the head to go through.

Couple more includng my favorite....the Kämpfer....
Woah, the way those two models are painted they look like the in game models from EIS and AEUG vs Titans.

G-savior does not deserve to be mentioned with Gundam. Someday it will become a coaster, for now it resides on the shelf as a reminder of the dark side of live action anime-based movies.
Yeah, I understand that. I remember when I saw it as Best Buy with like a half-off sticker or somthing like that, anyway, it was gundam and it looked interesting, so I bought it. I took it home, popped it into the DVD player, and was quickly, and rudely disapointed.

I think both were designed by Yutaka " Patlabor" Izubuki. That might explain the similarities, although technically both models inhereited Ramba Ral's Gouf colors.
Here's another alterna-color scheme which works well for a monoeye:
wow... you do that? I would have to agree that the Gouf looks... well... pretty awesome in that color scheme, maybe like a "what if..." Shin Matsunaga custom?

I think that the CF will be the next 1/48, seeing as how Kakizaki's never gotten any love anywhere before (other than the MPC's and that was "Ben") I doubt he'll be made into a 1/48. But who knows the future, right? If we're lucky maybe we might see him as a limited edition, like the Low viz. Here's hoping!

I have one, got it right after Christmas, and I have to say that he is quite awesome. Now I don't transform him everyday, cause I don't want his paint to all chip away, but he does come down from the shelf and get handled once in a while. But then I can't put him down, he's just so posable that you don't want to leave him in the same pose very long! Oh, and all of you uneasy people need to understand that this is the best Prime figure ever and He's not going to be around forever. Snatch them up while you still can!
*EDIT* One wierd thing I have noticed on mine though, there's no paint chipping on any contact points; metal or plastic, but he does have some minor paint chipping on the rivets that are at the top of the chest doors towards the middle. I wonder why...

Ok, I know that the SW-AG is the energy converting armor on the VF's, but what does the acronym stand for?
-
I agree with UN Spacy in the fact that I would rather see an Masterpeice Starscream first.
-
They're not for the Yamato or the VF-17, they're for a lego model of an Ingram AV-98 from Patlabor.
-
With the armor schneiders. Schneiders??!?! Is that german for knife?
If you still care to know, schneider means cutter; so Armor Schneiders are armor cutters.
-
Yeah, I saw that too, and I found the instructions in MLCAD for it once, but now I don't remember where. Anyway, if you want them PM me.
-
Damn, that's pretty big. I looked around that site some more and found a transforming VF-17, and except for the fact that it kinda looks like a bumble bee in fighter mode, I think it looks pretty good.

*EDIT* sorry if it's OT...

Yeah, if the head lasers are decent combat weapons why are they fixed rearward in later valks?
Well, atleast on the Y/VF-19, the head laser is only facing rearward in fighter and GERWALK modes. In battroid it can be positioned forward towards an enemy or to any incoming missiles, besides in fighter and GERWALK it also has those forward fixed lasers at the base of the wings; so it doesn't really need the head laser to point forward then.

No he didn't its the 'S'.
You can see that side's other head laser, its really close to the fuselage so you have to look kinda hard. Looks pretty good btw, great work Armor
