Just got my reissued Alto so here a few first impressions of the fighter mode:

-The retooled holes are there but the big one needed to put in Luca's radome is covered, just like the 25G

-I don't know whether it's my eyes but the wings do seem more straight than my 25G although it's still generally angled upwards

-I don't know whether there's a mis-tranformation somwhere but the naselles on legs can be raised (very) slightly higher than my RVF and 25G and so there's a tiny bump that can be seen on the rear of the plane when looking straight from the front

I'll try to post some comparison pics tonight when I have the time.

hey guys, i'm just getting back into the toy collecting thing and i'm wondering if anybody can point me to some stores in my area. I personally like to see and hold things (even if it's just the boxes) before i make the purchase... and honestly i'd like to avoid some of these outrageous shipping prices on ebay. So, anybody in LA/OC area have any places they can recommend? Ideally places that carry Macross/Yamato products. So far I've heard of two that I'll try to check out soon:

Both places are Really good, Anime King is personally my favorite just a little far for me.. Franks has a lot of different booths with Macross stuff so you should find what your looking for at both places

Why are people all hyped up from pics of tiny pilots!?

I'm not convinced until I actually see sketches or pics much like the VT-1 and VE-1. Come on people, are you all that navie. I mean, all this stuff coming out at once seems illogical to me. Especaially, in this economy.

Hmmmmm - good question. I just assumed there would be. I thought that it was not just that HG wanted a more anime look for Scott but that it also justified their 'limited edition' claim by not having it the same as the Beagle.

I know there were strong opinions on both sides but I ended up liking the Toynami Scott/Stick head sculpt better (not by much though).

If I had a vote I would vote for a different Rand/Ray head sculpt for Toynami, but I think we all know about 'my vote'.

i personally dont think there will be a seperate head sculpt because if you look at the beagle ray its painted and sculpted a lot like the toynami scott and nothing like the beagle stick.. Almost as if it was the same sculptor who did the beagle ray that did the toynami scott.

Well I kinda lucked out-- I ordered from the second batch of VF-25G/RVF-25 from Overdrive, and asked them if they could use the coupons to order my fold boosters/ghosts-- and they can, provided you allow them to open up the box and take out the coupons. They haven't asked me for payment yet as well-- I think they are waiting until the web orders come online!

im also curious to hear about how much they are from overdrive with the coupon =)

yea the black tekkaman evil would be sweet too.. hopefully its an appendix kit or something coming out I want them all!! but realistically its probably not gonna happen.. They probably wouldnt release a single tekkaman because nobody else but blade had pegas to ride on.. The rest of them had a ugly radam they ride =(

man, i just put the super parts on and this thing wont even stand without flopping over =(

My 25G's hip connector isn't as tight as I would've wanted it as well. It's quite a bit looser than my RVF's. I used super glue instead of nail polish though and now it's quite secure.

do you just put a dab of super glue on the male connector?
