Go with the alternative and look for a local vendor that offers lazer engraving. I've looked around the internet and find the prices to be resonable $20-$40. Now with the NERV lettering on the display window, take it to an airbrush professional. It looks as if that you may have to disassemble the ipod; prep up the surface of where the paint will be on and airbrush the lettering on the interior of the display window. Transparent airbursh colors as to not obscure the intended LCD screen is the likely choice. hey if you did that then you could make a macross exclusive IPOD

I've seen the valk you're talking about when i was in SO-CAL for thanksgiving. if i remember correct. it's non-transformable and i don't think it has any moving parts aside from the landing gear. it does look about joe size but i dont' think the canopy opens. sry i don't know anything else about it, why not ask the guys who work there next time you're at the Spectrum. i just might do that, but i think the people working the store might not know either, unless one is the owner....
