where are the pics???
That VF-1D display model is BROKEN! Look right behind the wing where the inner back assembly is supposed to snap into the top of the back of the leg. The part of the inner back assembly where the locking tab is supposed to be is broken off.

Looks like they didn't try very hard to give Jackman the wolverine hair this go round.

Ah, and the reason its stayed so low:
"I will only except bids from US and Canada. "
Why people do this is beyond me. Oh well, doesn't suck for us U.S. collectors...
That and a piss-poor auction title - misspelled Bandai.

Re-issues of the 1/55 Strike????????????????
Really?
There was a press release that all 'exotic' 1/55 variants will be reissued. Also they had strke armor on display at a recent show beside the other current reissues. So it's likely, yes.
-
Amazing that the 1/55 toy design has been in constant production, licensed or bootleg, somewhere in the world for 26 years. Usually concurrently by more than one company.

what is the going price range
obviosly i have offended the whole macross community
cru721 wont haggle or answer me
he just said that if thats what i offer then he would rather keep them
so...i want to know
what should i expect to pay
Ballpark assuming non-broken parts:
Jetfire Armor + Gun $50 to $65
Strike Armor $125 to $175 depending on if you get all the alternate pieces like spare booster tip and wing missiles
Just wait for the reissues coming out this year and next, cost you less + includes a new valk.

Most of "The Batman" is pretty weak compared to the brilliant Timmverse(Batman-Batman & Robin-Batman: Gotham Knights, Superman, Batman Beyond, & Justice League) but the final seasons introduced Batgirl, Robin, & the Justice League were a little better. The final season was almost like a set up for the newest Batman series Brave & the Bold where Bats teamed up with JLA members Superman, Martian Manhunter, Flash, Green Lantern Hal Jordan, & Hawkman. I'd buy the final season for the team-up episodes and the two-part finale where Justice League battled an alien invasion and robotic versions of themselves. One episode where Batman & Robin fought criminal versions themselves in the Wrath(from the Batman annual "The player on the other side")& Scorn was fun.
There is a very cool Season 4 Episode of The Batman where Mr.Freeze, who is essentially immortal, gets loose on Gotham 1000 or so years in the future, after Batman is dead and is thought of mostly as a legend. You get to see how Batman planned for that eventuality and also some cool "history flashback" scenes of a middle-aged Batman trying to keep up in a fight against the still-youthful Freeze. That one was very well done, especially if you like those glimpse of the future storylines. I'd recommend renting that disc just for that episode.

Acroray is right, he is definitely thinking of the small Iron Gear toy. I still have one , here he is with his cousin. Mine has a copyright mark on it of 1983 Sunrise Taiwan Enterprise Corp. The Macross is just stamped Japan on the rear of each of his lower legs. I remember I bought them both at the same time on the blue blister cards at Kmart, so they were distributed by the same company.

The Queen Vajra laying eggs and the way she started freaking out when Brera flew in there was a straight rip from Aliens when Ripley invaded the Alien Queen nest.

Maybe the planet actually IS Earth since it looks like Earth, has a moon like earth, and the SDF-1 is there.

i seem to recall that DYRL had a movie theater premiere. don't know if that's a big thing, or if they do that often for anime. did gundam have any of that? just curious
The original gundam series was cut into 3 theatrical movies and I think Char's Counter Attack was one as well. There may be others.

The Bandai Strike Valkyrie came out in 1984/1985
The 1990 Bandai is the Super Valkyrie. Which are you looking for?

I saw a robot band at Chuck-E-Cheese once.

As for cameos, blink and you will miss Bill Bixby.

Did they paint him in digitally? Because he's been dead for years.

My guess is that they'll run into survivors. I don't think the whole of the earth is dead yet. They only showed you the area they were in, but not all of it. So who knows really. All I can say is that I liked it and I can't wait for more!!
Agreed, they could run into any number of apocalypse survivors on the Earth including:
- Logan5 and Jessica6
- Mad Max
- Astronaut Taylor
- John Connor
the list goes on...

So what is this big secret about what the Vajra actually are or their origins?

So I wonder what the price will be from Toynami when they import it here as their Masterpiece? Also, I thought the Scott Bernard head was to be a Toynami exclusive add-in, but there it is in these Japan promo shots.
