  1. Compared to the VF-1's, the '19 is a fairly simple build but I would definately recommend practicing on some cheapies first.
  2. FYI....Linda Carter is 5'9'' and I think she did a pretty good job.
  3. According the Hase instructions they are blue/gray.
  4. Aquaman.....isn't this being directed by James Cameron and stars Vincent Chase and Mandy Moore??
  5. Agreed. If you're gonna hand-paint your models then Tamiya is garbage. But for airbrushing, this stuff is the best.......imho
  6. My favorite version of Nick Fury:
  7. Excellent distinction....My vote is for "Macross Model Godfather"
  8. They didn't last time I was there, though things might have changed. It wouldn't hurt to find out, but if you don't need 'intricate' white decals the copy route is definately the safest way to go.
  9. I've had some success printing the graphics on plain paper then taking them to Kinko's and having color copies of the graphics made on decal paper.
  10. I can almost guarantee that the 'boots' you have are copies of the CPM version. Therefore the dub tracks are identical and to my knowledge there are no other options.

    Help!!!

According to the Hasegawa instructions its RLM 75 (Grauviolet) .... I'm with LTSO and usually go w/ the Tamiya Gunmetal.
  12. Firefly is currently #17 on Amazon.com's top 100 (not too bad for a cancelled TV series released in 2002), I wouldn't exactly call that a cult following. I personally blame the poor Serenity box office on a terrible marketing campaign and think a return to TV would be highly successful.
  13. The yen has dropped significantly against the dollar in recent months so I'll take my chances w/ HLJ.
  14. This kit has very few panel lines to begin with so I doubt you'd see much of a difference anyway...imho.
  15. Direct to DVD as a movie first. Then I 'm assuming based on DVD sales the broadcast rights will get sold and it will go into production as a tv series. I've also heard that it may also end up being a series of OVAs if they (HG) don't get the TV 'deal' they are looking for.
  16. As a GM employee....the financial troubles are tied to pension payments and health insurance costs. GM is waaayy too nice to its employees. And when you call NASCAR a joke, I assume you are not referring to its profitablility?
  17. Is it true that the budget for this film was only $40 million??? If so, then this flick should turn a sizeable profit and encourage another movie or 2.
  18. Excellent take Exo.... By the end of the movie everything is wrapped up nice and neat w/ almost zero chance for a sequel. But if this movie does well enough (which I think it will based on the crowds at my theater) I think the Firefly universe is definately large enough for prequels.
  19. BUMP..... Looks like a new AT Votoms OVA is in the works: 9-24-05 (8:43PM EDT)---- New VOTOMS Animation Announced According to the November, 2005 issue of Nikkei Characters magazine, a new animation is forthcoming soon from Studio Sunrise based on their Armored Trooper VOTOMS property. Directing will be original creator Ryosuke Takahashi, Production by Steve Tsukada with Character Designs by Norio Shioyama and Mecha Designs by Kunio Okawara. Containing one of the grimmer and grittier war storylines of any anime, VOTOMS debuted as a TV series in 1983, spawning off several OVA sidestories over the following years concluding with the last volume being released in 1995. Nikkei Characters is in a good position to be privy to knowledge of such a new project as Takahashi's latest VOTOMS novelization "Votoms Ichibunno Ichi" has just began serializing within it's pages since the July issue courtesy of Anime News Service
  20. I've got a surplus store by my house and they sell these plastic syringes which work really well for measuring paint and thinner.
  21. Agreed. The appearance of the Hummer was easily the most disappointing part of this series so far. Regarding the firearms, I realize they are trying to do their own thing but come on how about a little homage. It surely doesn't get any better than this:
  22. Great news !! I can't wait to pick this up !!
  23. A very underrated show...Stacey Keach was hilarious.
  24. IMO he did. Marv was hands down my favorite character.
