  1. I came across the name "KAIFUN LYNN" is this correct?? I have searched out a few websites, either they list nothing... or in the case of "KAIFUN", there was no description or picture to go along with the name. Its the only name I didn't recognize. Or was this the little boy from episode 1? grr... I need the name for my latest "Model Monstrosities" project. any help would be appreciated
  2. hey hey... no name playing... EXO... short of Executive Officer.... aka... JAFO! I'm still trying to figure out a good way to "shade" it, baring layering Vector data over vector data to do it... and it looks a lot better than South Park characters
  3. I agree completely
  4. thanks kewl... thanks DNA I'm in no big rush, it gets done when it gets done.
  5. guess I should share... I have had the image available on my iMacrossVII server... but here is a link: Misa.bmp *do a "right click, save target as...", or on the Mac "click hold, save target as..."
  6. I got ahold of the infamous Misa pic! Thanks DNA!!! Now I have been using Photoshop for many years. But I have really never had the oportunity to use the Vector Art in photoshop. It needs a bunch of work... but hey its a start
  7. I'm waiting (im)patiently for the Monster but I will likely be on my "Model Monstrosities" v.5.0 by then
  8. wow very nice!
  9. to all you computer savvy people out there... if possible, because I (like UN Spacy) don't own the Animego Macross DVDs.... could someone do "screen shots" for my website? It would be very much appreciated heck even if you don't have a DVD player on your PC/Mac, but have a digital camera... you can take a pic of your TV screen, if possible set your shutter speed down to 1/15th or 1/30th of a second (and hold it real real still )
  10. thanks, its still very much a work in progress though
  11. OK, I cleaned up my pages, re-layed out my site, I also started a basic Robotech page... "Unofficial Easter Eggs Compenium" I have updated as much as I could, I will need to get screen caps and Vid rips. I am in need of a better "Macross" logo for the page (440x250).
  12. Hey you have to remember I'm a RT fan also I will probably be putting up a Robotech one too
  13. LOL, I completely forgot about that one I am currently trying to compile a list of "Macross Easter Eggs" onto my website Macross Easter Egg Compendium, its very much a work in progress... I'm trying to gather a listing of each (including time stamp if possible), and a video screencap/rip of it.
  14. well.. 180,000 (including the Macross survivors)... thats a whole lot of people "in the gene pool" every time I see Misa and Hikaru on earth after he saves her from the Grand Canon... the thought "now we can re-populate the earth" come to mind
  15. hrmmm sounds like something for the: What's wrong with my.... thread
  16. I'm sure they kept it fairly well armed as a city defense. its not only a monument, its a symbol of power and perseverence... if it could still preform, even at a Civil Defense level, why castrate it? and turn it into a "statue"...
  17. please pardon my ignorance... I am not familiar with SOC (Soul of Chogokin), can someone post an image or a link? I'm finding this interesting
  18. I would assume that the "artillery systems" whether they are AA or traditional (well as traditional as you can get with OT) artillery, they are "computer operator" controlled. i.e. person sitting at a computer to "man the gun". so presumably in Macross Plus when the Sharon AI took over the Macross, it took over all computer consoles. Giving it uninhibited access to firing control. Also the Sharon AI had "entranced" the populous. like how she had the "guards" try to kill Myung when she escaped Sharons strangle hold. Its possible that Sharon had "control" over the firing control techs and was making them try to shoot down Isamu. Regardless of what type of 'artillery' the Macross had during Space War I. presumably they would have "upgraded" them 35 years later to particle/beam weapons.
  19. no the perfect scenario with Kakizaki: the Ghost would riddle him with bullets and Kakizaki wouldn't die (remember it took a barrier explosion to finish him off)... the Ghost would use its entire ammunition reserve trying to kill Kakizaki to no avail. The entire time Kakizaki would be crying "save me!" Hikaru or Max would arrive to find a Ghost swarming Kakizaki "trying" to finish him off by "shootin blanks" i.e. ammunition it doesn't have. It would be a simple matter of leading the target and riddleing it with bullets. Even though that the Ghost is using a very high level AI system, it would not be capable of knowing that Kakizaki couldn't shoot himself with a 1000 rounds, a .45 Colt, and a mirror. Let alone actually "do any good in combat" The Ghost would of been better off just "mocking" him and flying off to find a better target.
  20. IIRC, there were "pockets" of survivors. Kind of like how they say that if WWIII happened with all the missles in the arsenals in the 80s, that 99.997% of the surface population would have died... .003% would be 150,000 survivors, out of about 5billion people in the 80s, interestesting to think that there are between 6-7billion alive today.
  21. I so wish I had the funds to pick up SDC: Southern Cross
  22. doh... I mean 9 DVDs I was thinking of the "box thread" from the Toys forum
  23. how many DVDs is it (less than 12?)?? its possible you have a boot version... I have seen some of the "offical" release episodes, the subs seem nice and clear to me.
  24. well there is a solution... its called a plastic bag and a rubberband ok.. ok... ok... I'm evil and I know it anywaysies... I am probably one of the few who actually liked FF:SWI btw, nice pic of Aki!
