figures the White Drew Carey starts a thread today to gather Easter Eggs...
-
ok, I haven't seen it, but that does ring a bell
-
I'm not sure if this would qualify as a newbie question, or should be its own thread... but is there a "definitive" list of Macross Easter Eggs??? I'm thinking of doing a page on my website (if there really isn't one) as well as have Vid Rips of them on my iMacross server. I came across a few frames from Ep 1 that I didn't notice till I was viewing it one frame at a time.
-
same here! if someone could rip said "baby throwing" scene and be willing to upload it to my FTP server... I would forever love you!
-
they look like modified "Ken" barbie dolls... such a kewl idea... recast hands and heads... repaint.. and wha-la! OMG that is such an interesting idear... modify "Barbie" dolls and make your own "Bridge Bunny" set
-
its just a "dust cover" for your existing DVD cases, not a replacement.
-
:COUGH: WAITING *VERY* PATIENTLY FOR MACROSS PLUS CASES :COUGH: :COUGH: I think the pricing on the 12 DVD case is reasonable, and why people can't understand that this person makes them as they are ordered and not to pre-print 60 boxes with the "hopes" that MW people will buy them. If we wind up leaving a bad taste in the guy's mouth... well... I'm just gonna sensor myself right now.

Blasphemy!!! the thought of Focker flying a Cannon I have seen a lot of "Easter Eggs" in the RT version, I'm pretty sure this one is not in there... HG (blows) made sure to rid RT of all "sexual" and most of the "alcohol" references. I would love to see a RT "unrated/uncensored" version released

Toyota releases a trumpet playing robot.
Southcross replied to UN Spacy's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I don't see what oral sex has to do with a robot that can play the trump....ohhhhhh..... you need to read the story completely -
not sure what I spent on my toy collection, but how's $24-$25,000 in photographic equipment took me five years to pay it all off

I was reading through this post out of curriosity about Gundam. Now I'm not trying to fan the flames of a poinless argument... BUT! is spelled "incapable" :passes out chill pills: arguements are better left for PM or some other place than in a public forum with that said... I've been meaning to look into Gundam to see if I would like it, I have caught SD Gundam on Cartoon Network (IMO its a joke, anything has to be better than that). I'll have to see if I can find any of the forementioned Gundam versions/releases.

I so want to get one of these

my FTP server is online now: imacrossvii.myftp.org anonymous logins are download only MW members (no new members sorry) can PM me for a login name and Password. EDIT-->3/16 If you IM me, because of the hours I keep, you may have trouble getting ahold of me. a PM works best. I'm cleaning out the drive to allow more space for uploads/downloads My FTP server will be up as long as my machine is... I may do "blackout" periods if my bandwidth gets out of hand. EDIT-->3/14 my machine runs Norton Antivirus Corp Ed. on a 24hr update schedule, all files are automatically scanned... bad/virus uploaders and grieffers will have their IPs banned EDIT--> 3/16 after first week of use I have been averaging 100MB per day (30GB per month?). I have already experienced one Application crash, so far it appears to be an Isolated issue. FYI my server supports "resuming" downloads, if you get dropped... try again! depending on your FTP software it might start again from where it dropped. EDIT--> 3/17 my FTP software seems to be having problems with uploads, I have updated to the latest release... I'm keeping a close eye on it EDIT--> 3/23 doing a bunch of major software updates (upgraded AV software, general MS updates), had to bring down server. I should have the server back up tonight, possibly tomorow morning when I get home from work.

I've thought about it... cutting out the panels would not be the hard part, doing the folds would be... now you could cut out all the panels and try to glue them together... but picture smashing an eggshell in little bits then try glueing them back into an egg. the major problem would be that there is no internal support for the exterior panels, you would have to build one as you go... might as well just scratch build one for that matter... oh and make a resin casting and make resin's for your MW firends

GU-11 ammo/magazines/clips
Southcross replied to Retracting Head Ter Ter's topic in Movies and TV Series
It matches what is shown in Memory Perfect, so I'm inclined to say its legit. having an understanding of balistics and trajectory... its a poor design to be fired in an atmosphere, let alone have a limited propellent capacity. Just like the AMM missiles. Looks really unaerodynamic for use in an atmosphere. Heck, even the VF 1 isn't very aerodynamic for atmospheric use. well its all relative... you put enough force behind something you effectivly can make anything seem "aerodynamic" i.e. potatos, people, bricks... heck target amunition (wad cutters) for a 357 are by no sense of the word aerodynamic (but very very accurate up to a certain distance). -

Barrel cook offs can be very very scary... but if I had a choice I would prefer the round to cook off in the barrel than in the magazine. the worst cookoffs are, as an example, a tank firing tons and tons of HE ammunition... the barrel gets too hot and instead of setting off the propellent, it sets of the "warhead"! this is very very bad! Also "cook offs" can refer to a "bad round"... the propellent is either non-existant or bad (wet, old, etc)... the propellent burns really slowly (round appears to be a "dud")... but still burns hot enough to ignite the time delay fuse in the projectile... the time delay runs out and BOOM! the HE goes off inside the tank! all very very bad -
hrmmm... genital warts... on his face... now thats bad

Is the english version of "Voices" on CD?
Southcross replied to LiQuiD[EViL]'s topic in Movies and TV Series
its the whole "right click and "Save target as..."" BS.. its not you DNA (probably your webserver not set up for that file type)... I learned a long time ago use the right click... it makes issues like that 99% non-existant. besides Netscrape... well... IMO... sucks... their reliablity and "technology" never seem to keep up with the times. Now admitidly I have not used Netscape in probably several years now. I unfortunatly got sucked in to the Microsloth blackhole... but what can I say IE works (most of the time) -
looking at that price... I see they won't be low-balling any of the other online stores on the price... they are asking full MSRP!

found out there was a "setting" that was causing my FTP server to drop connections when you tried to DL... thank you Ali Sama for helping to test my server the setting labled "optimize downloads" should read "drop all downloaders by creating a bogus, malformed command that isn't recognized as valid and generate no error other than 'connection dropped'" it has been confirmed running and usable by Ali Sama and by myself at work (work is behind a very finiky Proxy, if it works from work then it should work for everyone). Now to find out how I can get a domain link like iMacross69.myftp.com or something (for free ) -
at one time there was an unofficial contest where you hacked a site, reported it to the contest personel, they verified that it was hacked by you and they tallied up the scores of many "hackers". they had to hack the site and replace the front page with "hacked by so-n-so" the winner won something lame like "utlimate hacker" title or something... had my old ftp site hacked once... forgot and left "allow anonymous uploads" turned on funny thing is they uploaded 3.3 gigs worth of MP3s... I deleted the crap and kept the rest for myself

Yes it is. I was just playing around of the idea. That's all I have of it. love the pointy nose keep up the good work cw
