    Unlike collecting mass-produced toys, that you have several to pick from each month, there are so many reasons why someone wouldn't acquire new cels regularly...with the price of ownership being just one factor among many.  As a result, it is completely understandable that "dry spells" will occur in this hobby.

    Don't worry....this thread will be here whenever it is that someone adds to their collection and wishes to share with the rest of us.

     

    But in case any of the cel collectors here wanted to toss some serious coin to their proxy.....

    That's like $100 over MSRP is it not?  I paid $260 for Hikaru's VF-1J but the was months after the preorder.  Shouldn't be paying these prices in the first hour of a preorder.  I don't why I ordered it.  I think it is just a feeling that I'm going to miss out of the VF-1S Roy type.  The one I really want and this might be the only VF-1S I have even a chance of getting even at a higher price.  Maybe Bandai will decide not to fill NY orders for their preorder price fixing.

    These are my thoughts as well.... I missed and now the hype is driving it up. I do agree that we probably have to pay more.... but should be more careful in choosing a spot to fight in....

    Wow sorry guys look like I was the last guy ...... hope it works as I have never seen or ordered from this place before..... shipping was about 1000 yen more than normal but overall still cheaper than Amazon

    Here is the companion piece to my previous share.  They have been in my RS gallery for years.  You just have to know where to look.  And yes these are the originals by Kawamori, not copies.

    Most of those cels have been ID'd on Macrossworld as being scalper goods...

    Feel free to inform Facebook cel collectors of their status or at minimum...original purchase prices so folks can make better informed purchasing decisions

    I think the term scalper is totally subjective.... who would not like to make money? You should see the real estate situation in Singapore and how the government stopped inflation by introducing tons of restrictions haha. In this case since we don't own the market I strongly believe in making an informed choice so totally support the exposure of the original purchase prices. After that it boils down to individual valuation..... I have seen Ariel's cels and prices and we are very far in valuation so no deal.

    At worst you can list them for a dollar each on ebay.....no one would accuse you of being a scalper at that starting bid....lol!
