  1. I have been lurking this thread for a while......

    Maybe......

the four that found out they are Cylons are probably just humans with certain DNA sequences that make cross breeding possible...

The half breeds lose their Cylon abilities and become more human. The interbreeding breeds out the pure Cylons. The Cylons and humans then become one race again. The circle of man creates, machine rebels and both sides almost die continues.....

Maybe the final Cylon is really Helo....

  2. Well, if you would keep up...

The background music was removed from the scene in episode one where Noriko begins her training under Coach Ota. The music was replaced with another track of music from the series, "Start Of Military Operations" M-13, which is track 11 on disc two of the Sound Collection Of Gunbuster 3 disc set. It was felt this piece of music too closely resembled the theme from the film Chariots of Fire, so instead of starting a whole controversy over a lawsuit, the music was cut. Mind you, this was just for the R1 American release. Everyone else in the whole world gets to keep the original version. Bandai did release a R1 version of the original Japanese remastered set, which was intact. Questions arose why that wasn't edited as well, seeing as how it was made for sale for the R1 market. When Bandai was confronted with the music change, they stated that if they wanted to have the original scene, then they could buy the other set. What a way to treat your fans, eh? And, in addition to the music cut, the sound quality for this particular episode was also degraded, as you can tell while watching. Compare it to the original uncut scene and you will see for yourself. I hope this clears things up for you.

By the way, my Bome figure is on its way! Ordered one late, but getting it regardless.

Is the audio on the bootleg decent? Just rip the audio from it and add the new video.....

    ;)

  3. Do a google image search for starscream... go on, I'll wait.

Oh... what's that? No ridiculous tailfins hanging off the the back of his legs?

But wait, if we look at the original toy, we see that starscream actually stood on his rudders and his wings were attached to his hips!!!

So even the first version of MP Starscream was rubbish since it wasn't faithful to the original design!!! THOSE BASTARDS.

    Fanboys, pfeh.

I didn't catch your opinion yet........

    What is it again?

  4. Although I did not care for the "animal" concept, I did enjoy the Beast Wars show. Few characters with lots of focus. The tie with the original series was a nice touch. Of course, there really is no official timelime so take it or leave it.

Great thing about Beast Wars toyline was that there was not 80 fricking characters at the store. Kids could save there cash and buy the figs. Newer TF lines are just wave after wave. Kids can't keep up with it. I thought some of the toys were okay but alot were kibble monsters.

I liked the animation style of Beast machines, but did not care for the organic concept. We finally get a show on Cybertron and they turn the planet into a ..... What kind of hippie crap are they trying to push my way.... The toys were also just kind of meh. There were a few good ones but most were just nothing fantastic.
