Looking to buy the CMS series 2 chase figure of Hikaru cockpit. Does anyone have one for sale? I live in nor cal, USA. Thanks.

Oh, I forgot; WTF is with that HUGE TOOTHBRUSH? The toothbrush is what the Zentradi uses....duh. What is wonder fest anyways? Is it like the SD comic com for the public or like the NY toy fair for retail buyers??

She's right, you are a dork. But I think I'm dorker for watching that whole video!
-
Are you sure? Here's what he wrote: eugimon, can you post a larger pic of your avatar? Graham Maybe we should ask Graham what he really wanted. hahaha.
-
No, no joke. I think he wanted a bigger pic of this super deformed YF-19: You had a picture of this in your avatar, right?
-
HOLY FOCKER! Roy's gone enigmatic!

I pretty sure Graham wanted a bigger picture of your super deformed YF-19 that you had use on your avatar ID pic.

I checked mine and the right shoulder does have a stress mark on it. So I loosen the screws and now it's floppier that ever. The left shoulder in fine. My theory is they might have different tighting specifications for each shoulder. Since the right shoulder holds the gunpod, it has tighter specs. haha. The thing that scares me the most about this issue is this comment: Q: Will Yamato redesign the shoulder of the VF-0 toy after so many people have reported it breaking. A: Actually, we have not heard this problem from Japanese customer, but the factory is looking into it. THEY ARE NOT EVEN AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM. That doesn't look good for the Shin / ghost package. I think the Japanese customers are not complainers (they just fix it themselves and call it good)!

1/60 Scale SV-51 Although many Macrossworld members guessed or suspected it was coming, I can now announce that Yamato will be releasing a transforming 1/60 scale SV-51 toy around the middle of 2007. The CAD design is complete and work has already started on the tooling. The first version to be released will be Ivanov's black SV-51, with other color variants to follow. This will be the largest variable fighter toy made by Yamato so far. Although I don't have the measurements from Yamato, I estimate it should be nearly 38cm long in fighter mode. The retail price point is not set yet, but expect it to cost more than the 1/60 scale YF-19, due to it's large size and complex design with greater number of parts. HOLY FOCKER!

Here's a link to that display cabinet: http://www.vcf.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servl...productId=16551 Too pricey for me. -
Yeah if Yamato ever makes something like an "Enigma" and/or a "Minmay Guard" paint scheme for the VF-1, I would definitly buy those.

It's not a new Valk, but it is still an all time favorite for many people ... even in 2006. This just shows how iconic, classic, sturdy, and well built this Valk really is.

Happy New Year! The year 2006 was one of the best years for Yamato Macross toys. They threw almost everything at us ... VF-1 Low Viz camo, Low Viz camo GBP, VF-1 super stealth (along with the biggest toy box ever made), Angel Birds, green VF-1 of that fat guy that got [spoiler ALERT] killed, display stands (with ipod nano colors), VF-0S (which gave us the term "floppiness"), VF-0A, YF-19 (with the infamous crooked gunpod!!!). There were just one good annoucement after another and that made for a very exciting year. These were all released this year, right??? Of all these Yamato toys released this year, which one was your favorite? As much as I like the YF-19, my vote goes to the VF-0A. The YF-19 could have been my favorite, but it was not perfect. The VF-0A on the other hand is close to perfection. It looks good in all 3 modes, all the QC issues from the 0S have been addressed, the color looks great, the details are awesome (rotating seat, feet exhast, etc), innovative transformation that does not require going to the gym, and it just plain looks cool. Here's hoping for an exiting 2007! Now it's time for me to party soon and I'll check back next year! Remember, don't drink and then try to transform a YF-19 (you will be sorry in the morning)!!! Hahahaha. Added Poll as requested.

OK, Done. For the Yamato 1/60 Scale Macross Zero Survey, should number #2 say "1/60 Scale VF-0A Production Versions " instead of "VF-0S Production Versions"?

Looks the the fastest YF-19 to make it to the US was from Samurai Monkey ... it must have had a fold boster attached to it! I've ordered from him before and he definitely sends things out quickly, and at a good price. Last thing I heard, he moved out of Japan?? So far, here are the YF-19 arrival dates to the US: 1) Dec 12 - Samurai Monkey 2) Dec 15 - HLJ 3) Dec 19 - Action-HQ 4) Dec 20 - LAFtoys 5) Dec 22 - Ebay

Merry Christmas everyone! I know a lot of people wanted the YF-19 in time for Christmas ... so who actually has one in there hands. If you got one before Christmas, where did you order from, when did it arrive, and what country are you in? If yours have not arrived yet, what retailers are you waiting on? I'm trying to find out which retailer gets the Yamato stuff the fastest. So far, I think people who ordered from HLJ, LAFtoys, Image Anime, and of course people who live in asia were able to get one already. Anyone else I missed?

Here's my new YF-19, safety tucked away in the display cabinet along with my other macross plus stuff. Sorry for the crappy pic. -
I got my YF-19 last Wednesday from LOS (good retailer) and I still can't put it down. I like playin ... ehh, I mean, transforming this thing. It's totally different from the VF-0/VF-1 transformations. Good thing Graham did the videos or I would snapped off the front end! Overall, I really like it, it's pretty big and yet it looks very sleek. Like everyone else, I have wheel problems and the crooked gundpod. As mentioned by someone eariler, the gunpod problem seems to be from the gunpod handle not being thick enough. I put the VF-0 gunpod, which is thicker, on the YF-19 and it came out straight (see picture). I think Yamato should fix the gunpod, recall on all the defective ones, and send everyone the fixed gunpod free of charge. Car companies do that all the time and the Wii controller straps got recalled, so why can't Yamato do the same? I know, I know ... it not a safety concern, but how can you get the bad guys if you can't shoot straight! BTW, the upcoming fast packs look great! I wish we can get just the fast pack (for like $20) and skip the fold boster.

For the flight suit, will there be hoses that connect from the backpack to the back of the helmet (like the wonderfest exclusives)? How likely is that feature and how likely is the light-up chest plate feature going to happen? Also, what color will the face sheild be (clear, or tinted blue, or something else)?

Lordy, after seeing how it transforms, I'm keeping mine in fighter mode! hahaha. Thanks for the videos Graham ... they were bloody good, mate! The videos will be a big help for everyone. There will be less MW members screaming their heads off and running to the forums when pieces of their YF-19 start popping off. Wait, what am I talking about, people here love to coming to the forums to scream and complain. I think if you take your time and not man-handle (like Graham), things will stay in place. With a toy this detailed, you're going to have small complicated parts to deal with. It's good to see that things can be popped back into place. As for the gunpod ... c'mon guys, we all have crooked gunpods. As long as you can shoot straight, it's all good! I personally think the transformation process is very compliated and intricate. I don't know how the peeps at Yamato can think up with stuff like that...it just amazes me. When is Yamato going to make something that tranforms itself automatically with a push of a button? That would probably cost like $20,000, but that would be the ultimate toy! BTW Graham, how many dogs do you have in your neighboorhood, and how do you get a good night sleep?
-
Thanks for the pics! Looks like it can hold a good pose. Still can't believe that's a $200 toy tho...makes the VF-0 looks like a bargin, because the zero valks looks more beefy. Man, I can spend hours in that store like that. I really need to visit Japan sometime soon again. I miss all the eye candy and the sensory overload!
