  1. thanks though...although the price is very unpleasant... 30$? for a toynami? that might be a no XD thanks for helping out though!
  2. I did find some wave 4 valks at one online store at a reasonable price(bout 20)..but still can't find a Hikaru 1J.... man...will they reissue these toys? Hope they do...or else it'll be hard...
  3. it says "febuary *fill in release date please* roadshow" on the commercial...im guessing that means it goes around japan???(dont even know if roadshow is a word...bad english XD
  4. do you know any online shops that still sell toynami 1/100 valks? I never saw one in an online store and only seen it on ebay.... never saw it on retail too...(i am in the US
  5. according to the commercials, it will, just be like the first movie going around japan.
  6. bad news if you want these.... since the nose cone is already glued on for the boxed and built version, you would have to remove the glue, cut it apart yourself, or you would just have to buy the model kit version 1S..
  7. some poses i managed to pull off.. people, please forgive me that it is the revoltech althought there is some very awesome posability(as seen in the photos) sorry for the poor photo quality
  8. I see.... although I don't seem to find any just yet.... maybe I should look harder XD
  9. YF-29 Gerwalk seen!!! although it looks a lot like the VF-25/7 line...guess transformation wont have much change... edit: picture updated: http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/3661/1297449621461.jpg
  10. it is seen in the new PSP game in triangular frontier...basically trying to make michael and klan more like the original macross blue red couple... it is a S type with red body, and with white and purplish stripes(need to check game, might actually take a snapshot for you later, if you want it) it looks very nice... EDIT: found a pic with the valk: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_UVRoF5dMi7U/TMHQsly0BgI/AAAAAAAAUZU/ui1pmF2tpBE/s1600/9.jpg and fighter mode: http://www.fast-autos.net/diecast-cars-models/diecast-car-image-large/macross-1-250-fighter-collection-4-vf-25s-klan-chase_150525978354.jpg i think the first photo tells us that we will get a klan klang 1/72 model?? the writing is too small for me to read.. by the way..so you guys are saying that the *future* floor polish is better than normal spray can clear coat?? man...i still think spray cans are easier to use...i guess..
  11. they might do it later on when they get to reuse parts...i guess or we will just wait for the movie and see...until then, cant say anything XD
  12. but the highmetal has one significant negative..that is the cockpit being too wide.. looking pretty ugly.. the hi metal is the only one so far to have this problem.
  13. no that i have played Triangular Frontier...i would really say pass this game.. although graphics are not so good for the macross games, the gaming experience on Mac TF is much better... and yes, this is my first time playing a modern macross game..(others being NES and PSX games)
  14. CGs are clear game pictures you get, like ones you get in galgames(or...love story type games) well if you love girls sure go for it XD I havent even touched the academy mode..and i am almost finished with campaign mode... it kind of gets repetitive for the missions.. in my opinion...guess i should try Academy mode soon or get someone to play with me...

    DX VF-171?

i can agree with that too... but these guys are totally different styles...even if they are mostly the same fighter... but either way i like em both
  16. GXPT2000

    DX VF-171?

well....if you don't mind the chunky proportions of the VF-17D/S, you could grab that too...as it is a nice toy(but customization would be heavily considered, which you could find on the Forum)
  17. hell...why does the lineart scheme look so much better than the wave model? Now I'm definitely going to get a 1st 1J...
  18. that is actually what they were going for....
  19. man..minmay is cute(is that all you care about?) well... Love the kinda DYRL colors... But not a big fan of the scheme...althoug..yeah.orange(from photo) looks great.. I'd love to grab the model..(1/100 fanatic) yammie??..man ive never seen one before in person...and not ever for this scheme... edit: I just found out why I dislike this scheme.. on the pics, they said this is supposed to be like the VF-25F scheme...but it is just not as sleek(the lines)....thats why it kinda sucks...for me
  20. vegeta8259 used a gundam lining marker to ink the lines. very use ful tool if you collect any toys, and like panel lining. or you could use thinned paint but that would be tedious for a yammie.
  21. I see...so that means GBP is on their way to come?!?!! i guess i will wait...until then..to get a 1/100 toynami. although i really hope they design the GBP a little better than the S/S parts..(the back pack looks risky.) gonna wait till then...if they dont make a GBP.. i guess i will go for the HI Metal.. And of course, if i get any of those, most certainly i ill post some photos~
  22. i played the game for some weeks now.. I have played most of the A.C.E series(except for the first and R) It is a pretty nice sequel..grphics are OK,gameplay is alright.. Although, Macross wise..It is not a great game.. really? 5 valks only?? no Armored parts?? No YF-21?? you gotta be kidding me....no armored parts is really a shame...would be sooooo much a better game if they made it..
  23. if you've got the money..really..just go for the Hi-Metal. You will get your moneys worth... and there is a possibility for the GBP-1. The Toynami does'nt really have a chance now for making one with this much competitors..im guessing.
  24. the joints are no prblem at all, since I am definitely going to switch them out for bandai polycap parts. As long as the main body is not fragile, I'm really going to consider this toy... And also thanks to everyone for the replies and useful information XD
  25. i know there is the Hi-metal...its just that it costs a lot XD.. and i think the battroid is too skinny(nothing compared to lanky-old-revoltech though, which looks good to me if it is a VF-1A) I just want a good looking VF-1J..but if i would ever want the GBP..i would pick the Hi-metal(which there is a possibilty) not exactly true "now"...because some stores just can't sell those 3-trans revoltechs and they go on sale...(i think this thing is not even worth talking about..for some people..)
