  1. Hi Caslon, yes some parts require to be glued like the nosecone for example. in my particular case i left many parts without glue just in case i deside to paint it, but that doesnt affect the transformation, works fine like any other yamato 1/60 V2.

Thanks mate! Really appreciate it:) I tried to grab one of those but missed it during the sales.... :( Please show us again if you wanna paint it in the future! :p

  2. Hi everyone, Here are some pictures of my vf-1s unassembled kit. finally I finished the assembly most of it was easy to assembly just a few things like the legs were more complex but not imposible. by now i will leave it like it is completely white but if any ideas on what color scheme should i paint it is welcomed. you will never see a valkirie whiter than this one hahahaha. btw hikaru took it for a test flight, he did not complain about the performance so that means i did a good job!!hahaha

    Glue needed? :) Nice job!

  3. I just got my Max VF-1A TV yesterday afternoon...kinda like it! Handsome kit! B))

TV Vermillion Squadron is now so close to be completed :)

    Just grabbed:

    1X 1/60 VF-1A Max TV

    1X 1/60 VF-1A Kakizaki TV

I'm almost complete my vermillion squad too by adding the last Kakizaki! ;)

  4. Doh, I knew that was gonna be some sort of give away. I even mentioned it on my next post.

Thanks to Rodavan for rendering the Glaug. His awesome art made it convincing.

Oh yeah, send all hate mail to Roy Focker. It was his idea to do an April Fools prank... and uhmm the rest of the mods twisted my arm... it was horrible!

Damn nice!! How about the color scheme?? :p

  5. Man, you won't be disappointed. I think it's easily the best VF-1 in my whole collection; I still have 5 of the original V1(?) planes, 2 1/48's and a 1/100 Toynami. This blows the V1's away! I've been leery of buying a V2 due to the shoulder issue, but this was one I couldn't pass up. I am SO happy with it! Took me 2 days of playing with it before I did my usual ritualistic application of the stickers. Same with the Gamlin. Man, the 22 is one sweet plane!

And speaking of stickers, does anyone know of someone offering actual stickers for the OD Tomahawk? Mine only came with waterslide decals, which I just can't stand putting on toys I play with. I don't know if they ever included stickers with the Destroids or not.

*Edit--Does anyone know how the shoulders are on the Grey Goggle Hikaru J? Being a late 2010 release I would assume it's safe, but I'd like to know from someone who has one.

Thanks! I definately wont be disappointed because i got 7 VF-1 on hand now.. :) So i'm hoping to get VE-1 possibly B))
