  1. I just received mine yesterday, all I can say is WOW!!

It seems the more I look at it the more detail springs out at you. No doubt its expensive but man if you are in anyway a Macross fan this is a MUST HAVE!!

Now to order another one......must have a cruiser mode and attacker mode next to each other.......

  2. With the arrival of my Grace VF-27 I can say that I have the complete MF collection - with the exception of the new release Vf-25 Michel type with tornado parts.

A have most of the 1/48's and 1/60's V2 with the exception of weathered models. I recently started going back and finding certain figures I was missing from M0 and M+.

Same problem as everyone else....no space!!

  3. Ami Ami probbaly already got their stock but is just delaying their invoicing until 1 July as if they invoiced before 1 July, there's a SAL small parcel promotion where you get an additional 15% off the price of the item. Most likely we will get an invoice tomorrow.

I received my payment request from Amiami this morning, I was pleased to see they included the 15% off EMS shipping as well.

Not sure if I was just lucky but I paid up straight away. Now I just have to wait until they arrive, it seems like it has been ages since I ordered them.

  4. nope, well as far as me goes. haven't received a payment request for it yet. kinda sucks coz i won't be able to make the additional 15% off sale they had that ended yesterday.

I received my payment request at 3am this morning - Australian time. I noticed that they gave me the 15% off shipping which was a nice surprise.

Can't wait to get a look at these TV VF-1S's .....

  5. I waited until last week to snatch one up, I paid $50.00 including shipping - what a bargin!!

Alto arrived yesterday and I was really surprised, in a good way. Intially I thought the figure was a little small but once you get Alto armoured up its a decent sized figure.

I really hope Bandai make a few more figures!!

  6. Yeah. The one you picked I had on my watchlist till I could find it any cheaper but you sniped me about 2hrs beforehand. ;):D:p

But its cool I'll just keep trollin til I get a deal, like I said I've still got all the aces so eventually I think I'll get lucky. :D

Its funny how that works - I was watching that one for days and didn't really get to concerned about it. Then I started to notice that everyone was having trouble getting one so I didn't waste any time.

I received it last week and its great! I'm sure you will find one - good luck..

  7. OK GUYS!!! I am HAPPY to report the 2nd wave release of the VF-1J with armor parts is 100% GOLDEN!!! Just got mine today! Already transformed. TIGHT AND GOOD!! No broken or cracked shoulders, NEW hip connector and NO rainbow canopy! All paint aps are PERFECT and the armor parts are SWEEEET too!!! :D :D :D

I just recieved mine from Amiami as well and derex is SPOT ON - this second release is awesome! I read alot of comments about color and shoulder dramas with the first version but this is probably the best built/finished V2 that I have.

Everything just looks and feels right, I wouldn't pass this one up!

  8. At first I felt the same way about kakizaki too but, I never knew they did the TV types in 1/48.

So I figured 1/60s were the way to go.

I missed out and have been trying to catch up on some of valks.

I've got Roy's TV valk on preorder, Max's just got to the house a few days ago and working on Hikaru's 1J.

    (With good shoulders, I hope.)

Did ever release a stand alone fixed shoulder 1J, just trying to get a solid confim on it.

And yeah i hope a reissue comes too.

I have the 1/48 TV Max and the Kakizaki on its way and let me tell you they dont look the same as the 1/60's.

The 1/60's have that real TV white color whereas the 1/48 TV editions use the off white paint scheme as a base.

The 1/60 vermillion squad looks like it just popped out of the TV.

I posted a while back that I managed to get a 1/60 Kakizaki from Ebay - I paid $120 and received a set of TV super parts, I thought it was a little expensive at the time.....looks like i was really lucky.

Hope you guys manage to find Kakizaki.

  9. Chronicles version right? Even in Tokyo they seem to be scarce. I think I can track some down price range is going to be about 22000yen not including shipping. PM me if your two are interested.

Hi Save, thats correct its the Chronicles version that came out last year. I have sent you PM.

    Cheers

  10. It's too late, I've had the fever for a while now. I've done some research and it looks like the VF-1A Max and Kakizaki Type TV Versions are the hardest to come by. I'm also really anxious to get a Vermillion Squadron together, and I'm not a huge fan of the DYRL Valkyries. How much is too much to pay for these versions?

Vermillion squadron is a good starting point and they look great when you have them set up together.

As for the price, well I waited too long for the Kakizaki and as a result I paid a slight premium at $120 shipped with a set of TV super parts. The max has been on sale at several key sellers like HLJ and Amiami. I think you can afford to shop around for the Max but when you see a Kakizaki I would jump on it.

My only suggestion is don't hold out chasing a deal because you may miss out on your Vermillion squad. The 1/60 V2's can generally be bought for between 80-100 US not including shipping.

If you time it right - when there is a sale you can score a real bargin. Even some of the free shipping deals can ease the pain. Having said that some of the sellers are listing TV Kakizaki as discontiuned so the price will no doubt start jumping as people chase it.

Good Luck and I hope you enjoy them.

  11. When it comes to VF-1, you will always start with

    VE-1/VT-1

    Max and Millia

    VF-1D

    GBP-1S Armors

    Vermillion Squadron

    VF-1S

I have to agree there, Vi-RS has all the bases covered. Pondo is spot on as well - TV kakizaki is really becoming difficult to find.

You are going to love the 1/60's - enjoy!!

  12. thanks I'll try toy wave, keep it up guys I haven't given up. ^_^

I have been on the same quest for a while now. I have had one on back order with Anime Export for a few months, I just received an email saying they could no longer source it!!

The TV Kakizaki's seem to disappearing from all the usual sources.

I decided not to take any chances and grabbed one from Ebay last night. I payed a small premium but the seller had it bundeled with a super parts set. With shipping it set me back $120 which I can live with.

    Good Luck

  13. Hello,

The topic pretty much sums it up.

I'm after a 1/48 TV Kakizki. If anyone has seen one please let me know, I would like a new one but I'm open to a MINT pre-loved example.

    Thanks

  14. Search around at for sale section, I believe izzyfcuk or save have them.

Thanks, I have been searching the "for sale section" for a while now and I haven't had much luck.

Guess I will just keep looking.

    Thanks again.

I just went back and had a look through the wanted list and found a few leads - thanks

  15. Yeah it was released late last year as a Macross Chronicles web exclusive.

Anyway it was the same deal with my 1/48 TV Max, but I guess some retailers got their hands on some and sold them on line.

There are still a few of the 1/48 TV Max's getting around on Ebay.

  16. Yes, and I think yamato missed their chance with the weathered vf-1s, that should have been the TV version

Now that makes perfect sense - that would have been a winner!!

I'm not a huge fan of the weathered releases but that would have been a MUST HAVE.

  17. Yeah I have to agree, a TV VF-1S would look great with my Vermillon squad.

The brighter white of the TV valks looks good when they are together. When you put the DYRL Roy 1S next them it just looks odd - from a display point of view.

So my Roy DYRL happily sits with his DYRL buddies on a different shelf.

Would I buy a TV Roy - HELL YES!!

Just putting this out there - do Yamato think the TV Roy should be darker/aged as it was the longest serving valk??

  18. yeah I recieved the address details from ANGOLZ and printed them and put them straight onto the parcel.

I had to copy the details for the delivery note but it wasn't rocket science so i'm 100% certain the details were correct.

I even checked back with ANGOLZ and they verified the address details.

Didn't see any comments about returned goods the treads seem to be mostly concerned with goods waiting to be recieved.
