    1/48 Atmospheric Booster & Launch Vechicle

    I'm try to gauge interest on two separate kits, the Atmospheric Booster with Pylon and the Launch Vehicle.

    Also, I'm trying to see which model these kits should be built around, the 1/48 Hasagawa VF-1 kit or the 1/48 Yamato VF-1.

    Why not add a 1/60 option to your poll and see if you receive any more bites?......I think you'd get more than the combined 22 you have as of this post.....I'd change my vote!

    I really like the idea of using this booster/launch vehicle as a stand....both practical and canon....unlike the current yamato "launch arm".....

    Good question....when you say "worth" keeping....are you implying some potential future return on investment?....If so, just keep the Vermilion squadron (vf-1j super pack set - only one with tv fast packs, both max and kakizaki Macross Chronicles exclusives), original low viz VF-1A, VF-1J stealth combo set, and the Macross Chronicles weathered VF-1S Hikaru with strike packs. Sell the rest. Stash the earnings for more 1/60 releases. Future Macross collectors will probably just want to complete the 1/60 line. Assuming Yamato does not go bankrupt and just keeps re-releasing everything at each anniversary!

    The guy probably has buyer's remorse (he took a look at his buddies Yamato collection)...but there is nothing he can do about it, you held up your end of the transaction....thus his only way to vent is the childish silent treatment........case closed!

    Moral of this sad story...always provide tracking and insurance on everything you sell even if it ends up coming out of your own pocket...it's the only way to be sure

    It's unfortunately hard for me to find artwork of most of my favourite characters, namely Exsedol, Britai, Rori, Warera, and Konda, but there are a couple places that have a lot of what I'm looking for.

    I don't know what this blog is called or how many people contribute; I just call it the "irooha" blog based on its URL. It's got SDFM and DYRL fanart and handicrafts, the former drawn in an almost shojou style. I've posted my most favourite ones here, but there's plenty of Hikaru, Minmay, and Misa art, as well as Kamjin, Max, Milia, etc. Actually, most of what the blog's been doing for a while is cute HikaruxMisa art, so check it.

    The stacking dolls and the Pop-Up Pirate Britai also exist in craft form, along wih some walnuts painted to look like SDFM characters, and what look to be Britai cookies.

    Super-cute, and all that.

    And there was a reference that characters would 'meet' a certain legendary idol. .........Or will they work out a way to make this 'cannon'?...

    Well, Hikaru saw his "future" self in the Macross the First storyline........so when you start introducing time travel/distortions into the story.....I guess anything goes! :p

    Sent them an email. If I get banished.....oh well, I usually buy from AmiAmi or HLJ...or from fellow MW members! :) So many choices these days! ^_^

    Only other pending pre-order I had with them was the VF-171 armor........anyone know where else to pick one up for about the same price NY has it listed (74 USD plus shipping)?

    So if you blow off a pre-order with NY....do they banish you for life?.....Anyone have any experience with this? Have an invoice for the vf-25g....but got a better deal from nano.....dunno might still get it....maybe trade it for the luca down the road?

    Being from Italia how hard would it be for you to come across one of them vintage takatoku henkei type VF-1S Super Valkyrie?

    I was under the impression that it was never released by Takatoku. Instead, it was released as part of the convertors line when Takatoku went out of business.

    If you have information regarding an Italian release...please provide more details.... ;)
