I doubt the lines will be that long on friday. I think the way it was set up this year was a marketing ploy by having everyone wait outside. I waited for about 3.5 hrs to get my stuff, then had to jump in another line for the damn concert tix. I got section U seats 301-304 (My buddy got tix with me at same time.) Basically, we're mid section, about half way on main level. Not as close as I wanted, but not bad. Can definitely see a lot from there. I'll be bringing my Macross Frontier CD to have signed by May'n and Nakagima. For the meet at Yardhouse. I think there's gonna be about 8 or 9 of us meeting around 7 to try and get a decent spot outside. If anymore wanna just show, by all means, we'll be there.
I'm not buying tix for the concert...I'm going to wait in line til they start letting us in for free. Last year, AX Idol didn't sell a fraction of its seating capacity so they let everyone in for free. I bet the same is going to happen at tomorrow's concert. As much as we all love Sheryl and Ranka, no one in the larger US anime community knows who they are.

I'll go to the Yardhouse, too. Count me in!

Do you have an updated version of this for those of us who downloaded the unsubtitled DYRL Remastered HD DVD file off of Bit Torrent (6.96 GB)?

The Nokia Theater is a huge ass theater - it's where they have the Emmys now. Today at 11:30 am I checked with ticketing cause I hadn't bought my ticket yet and they had only sold 1/2 of the main floor. (They closed off the balcony and upper levels entirely) I decided to just wait outside the theater until they handed out tickets to fill seats - I'm not sure if that ended up happening or not cause a random staffer gave away his own personal ticket to me. I would say we filled 4/5 of the main floor and the way they lit the theater it felt full and certainly had the energy of a packed house.
