Based on the Milia's VF1J model kit from 1984, this stealth is the first Macross customization I made
I printed some of the decals as I done later with the virgin road tail decals.
My light grey is too light, but I decided to let as it flies in formation with my monster, the 2 only mechas I got at 1/100
Result is Here

Another custom I made, from a Max VF1A DYRL 1/60 v1
I molded the head, made the antennas mobile, and repaint the whole body to make jack Archer's
You can see it just here now :
- Body Paint :
- Head Creation (based on original VF1A head)
- epoxy molding multi pass
- epoxy creating right and left neck laser cuppolas and modified original head laser
- Put an axle to get the head laser moving
- definitive assembly of the head, cover the face with putty, making left and right lasers with axles as the head one
- Making the original neck dome flat with heaten cutter blade, make the hole for cuppolas axles
- Painting
- Result of the head only
- The new head on painted body, with lasers in all the positions you can imagine :
- Fighter view :
- Gerwalk view :
- Battroid view :

Another custom in my collection :
- I had no time for waiting the Virgin Road, so I decided monthes ago to customize a VT102
- I painted it different from the "real" Virgin Road on the head, I think mine is better than Yamato's, no ?
- this is the result of my customisation, I molded the figures in epoxy as well, but basing me on the "true" colors for Max's and Milia's hair
- Battroid view :
- Gerwalk view :
- Fighter view :
made myself a decal highly inspired by hasegawa 1/72 one for the tail, on the 2 sides
- Family picture with the VF-1A Max TV I received the day before finishing this custom :

Hi !
For the second diorama I made with another Fan Racer, I wanted to reproduce the well-known scene when Hikaru and minmey have crashed into the technical zone of the SDF-1 after the Pluton Fold.
I let you discover what I have done here
I built the diorama with Kotobuyika's Mechanical Chain Bases, diod-lighted the podium, and molded the two figures as I've done in the first diorama.
What do you think about this one ?

Hi there !
Just wanted to share the first of the dioramas I made with the Yamato Fan Racer model Kit.
As You will see, I've made a landing gear, made the flaps articulated, the rear boosters covers are movable, and the cockpit is fully photo-etched detailled.
Detailled result (and execution step-by-step) of the upgrading is here, at the middle lenght of the page.
I build Roy's personal carrier to get the scene when Roy bring back Hikaru and Minmey to the fan racer, just before Zentradi attack.
I put the whole in a small base made with Kotobuyika's Mechanical Chain Bases.
What do you think about it ?

Thanks !
I used tamiya spray paint TS44 for the blue, it's lacquer but really electric blue
I made also the custom decal of the tail heart, I took the hasegawa 1/72 drawing and made my version of it, at scale.
was funny !
