  1. savior of my vf-1's Roy and Hikaru are back in the saddle, holding guns, pointing, looking awesome and stuff. Yay. I went for the "dark" grey for the mechanism feel, though they don't match the original dark grey parts of the knees and such, I like them all the same. A great service you've done for the community
  2. Ditto on the knee joint idea . They are fragile when a small earthquake is combined with a 5 foot fall...
  3. Forgive me if this has been discussed already, but does the front crotch piece on the superparts, and armor completely replace the crotch piece on the naked fighter, like they do on the 1/72 model? If so, awesome.
  4. In order of purchase: 15th anniversary pvc VF-1S battroid figure It was a gift, but it didn't make it any better. the three attempts of ownership of the Yamato 1/72 VF-11B. 1st Leg broke off after first transformation. Returned to ebay seller, warehouse and office close to where I live. 2nd other hip was broke in box. Drove back to the ebay seller the next day. 3rd, hip not broken in box. Lasted 3 months before both hips dissolved. Fail Yamato v.1 VF-1S Roy. Why even have the gerwalk in the intructions? Also, head lasers were too tight and brittle. Bandye 1/52ish VF-19 Blazer Valkyrie It was a bootleg, so I can't remember the actual manufacturer, but it was blue with the fire valk wings on it. Yamato VF-0S Floppy mess. Couldn't handle a small earthquake. Permanent fighter mode now. VF-100's DX VF-25F with Superpacks: Baby blue job Desperation outweighed patience.
  5. In Kyp's pictures, I couldn't help but notice that the legs, particularly the right one, were set kind of low in the fighter mode. Yet I also noticed that the tabs were locked in place. Could that have something to do with the angles of the knees in fighter mode? Is it an easy fix?
  6. I liked the purple canopy. Oh well. I like the look of the hinges for wings on the back plate. Looks sturdy.
  7. Ozma's up at HLJ! Source: http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN971691
  8. Wow, $214.00 at BBTS Source:http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=BAN14012&mode=retail
  9. thanks that's a good tip. I'm late for the ami preorder, so I hope to jump on HLJ maybe
  10. I'm probably going to get this from BBTS, when that preorder is up. It usually costs more, up front, but when shipping's added, it usually breaks even. Is this wise or should I jump in on one of the Japanese retailers?
  11. this thing looks amazing. I really want one, but I'm reluctant. I'd rather wait until there's reviews of the Alto version. If the build quality is good, and the pant apps don't fall off by looking at them, then I'll have to come up with dispensable cash for this beauty.
  12. Hobby search has it up for pre-order
  13. wow, that vf25s looks dead sexy.
  14. Yay Ozma!!!! I for one don't care about the armor or super packs. Especially on Ozma's. I wouldn't want to hide that great paint job.
  15. I must have the Ozma version!!! May it be next!!! I don't really care about getting the super and or armor parts this time around, having a beautiful fighter, with the legs in the proper position, is great.
  16. Oh man, does this look good. But I think I'm going to hold out for an Ozma. And more income.

    Nekki Basara Guitar

I'm a guitarist, and I know it's not going to be cheap. If it's an ESP/LTD version, its should be between $1-2K. If it's an actual ESP, were looking at $2.5-4k. LTD is the "intro/intermediate" level guitar brand for ESP. Like Epiphone for Gibson, and Squire for Fender. It's fun, but I've got other instruments, and mecha FAR up my list of things. It's pretty though, and the hardware is no joke. ps. stringing it looks like a pain.
  18. I like the new head design, I really like the paint design, I just wonder if there are any other differences in the vf besides the face and makeup. It would be tough to justify getting a new vf just for just those two things. (says the guys that had to have an A, J, and S) Any pics of a redesigned 1S? Or, God forbid, FAST Packs?
  19. As soon as the bayonet came out, macross pluss got into cut-the-crap mode. Really awesome, then Mac7 happened.
  20. 1:72 scale Yammy VF-11B. First one lasted 3 weeks. Second one, broke in box. I still have a leg somewhere. Oh, and the v.1 1:60 VF-1S. I was all excited about having a VF-1 for the first time that wasn't some Micro-SD Robotech thing (though I will always remember how I purchased it, all in pennies). Any way, I'm thinking that this thing looks great, but WTF, the legs have to come off!? At that point in I was beginning to wonder if Yamato had a legless fetish.
  21. Seriously, this is the first shot I've seen that makes this particular gerwalk look intimidating. Good work.
  22. yeah, I've had enough vf-1's. I'm holding off on the hi-metals until there's a yf-19 or vf-11b. And I guess I'm warming up to the vf-17 design, with the exception of that unfortunate gerwalk. So I'm slightly holding my breath.
