Do they replace mispacks? On my VF-0 I received 3 of the gun pods that attach to the top of the plane and only 1 that goes on the wings. I put a request in a few weeks ago but no word yet.

Another quick question. How is the quality when youburn these to a dvd? I would really like to watch them on my tv instead of this little screen

It seems most of the macross stuff available is in japanese. What is a good place to buy these with english subs. I was looking into macross 7, macross zero, macross frontier. Any help would be appreciated, Erik

So are the macross sdf dvd's different than the protoculture collection?

Well I finally watched shadow chronicles the other night and wasnt impressed. I have not seen robotech since the 80's and I just recently re-watched macross plus. I think plus ruined chronicles for me. I am drawn into the plus story and the planes look great. I was not drawn into chronicles at all. Im watching the macross saga and even though its kinda kiddy and fast moving its still fun to watch. Have any reccomendations for me?

I think both of them capture the essence of the cartoon just fine. They do have differences but it is a "saturday morning" cartoon after all. Its not like its drawn to a blueprint. The big guys just look so much cooler to me. I dont analyze line arts and I haent really inspected a 1/60 but the 1/48 is just about perfect to me.

rick is easier to type than hikaru. I think the 1/60's are good toys but they wont take over my shelves!

Ive noticed a lot of people prefer the new 1/60's to the 1/48's. How??? I've bought 3 1/48's and love them. Big, plenty poseable, look great, and did I say big? And I just got my flexi display stands and my rick with strike parts looks great with the sprawled out gerwalk going on.

I dont play with mine but I do like displaying them out of the box. I dont think its that bad when your not actualy ripping the box open and ruining it. I use to collect star wars and left most of them in the box.

1/48's for the win!

oh and as far as the engineering in these toys... try and figure out how it could be real. That will boggle your mind. Kinda like thinking about the end of the universe.

Well I lied. I actually got ricks VF-1A with super parts in 1/48 scale. Im just diggin the 1/48 size. And I also hate my v1 1/60 roy. That things a pita. Kinda turned me off from the 1/60's even though they are much better now.
