Just missed out on the 3 zero bloody guts at sideshow. Tried to buy it multiple times only to tell me someone else had it in their cart. After several attempts I waitlisted it. Do they go by who waitlists first or just an email saying it’s available first come first serve?

Just opened 2 more tickets that were never responded to. Would like a refund. Not getting my hopes up. This was for $400+ in super parts

I can't imagine having to pack up all my toys. It would take longer than the rest of the house.
I’m 40 and haven’t ever really moved. Bought this house with nothing and virtually filled it with crap. Ugh

yeah , moving sucks. I just did that earlier this year. .. label those boxes correctly so you can find them later... or take a phone of all those stuff you will put into that box before taping it. .. and Beware of mover scams..
we’re doing a pod for most of my collectibles. I think we’re just going to get the movers to get the furniture.

Mine just showed up. Not even going to open it. Moving in a month. Not looking forward to it.

I don't want to discourage you from transforming him. It's a bit of work, though, both for the number steps, and due to how strongly some of the large planet panels lock together. There's effort involved. Set aside a few hours to take your time and go through it. The resulting bot is pretty cool to behold in person, and worth the effort, IMHO. Better than just looking at a big orange and blue basketball.
Good luck!
Cool. Moving in a month or so. Plan on eventual moducases for my 1/6 stuff and statues. He’ll definitely be going in there just undecided which mode would have the better presence.

I stand corrected on both counts.
Yes. It's big, with very stiff ratchets throughout. If you've watched any vids, he's a bit involved to transform. I've only transformed him to robot mode, his having come in planet mode. I've thought about transforming him back to planet, but then I look at all those panels on his legs and think, 'another day'. Bot mode is my preferred mode for display, anyway, so the urge to go through another cycle of that transformation is fleeting.
Did you have any other questions?
No I was just wondering peoples thoughts. I have him sitting in the box but don’t think I have the energy to transform him.

I pop in and out of this thread occasionally. Anybody get unicron and open him?

You could probably check out their Facebook page. They post many photos of their display jobs.

Do share your pics once you've got yours set up, as I'm looking to get one myself
Yeah I checked out their Facebook page. Very undecided how I’m going to go about this. I might call them and ask for suggestions.

Hey guys,
just wondering who’s running moducases and willing to share pics. I see they have led strips or spot lamps. Wondering what most people do.
im getting a new house and the “sitting area” is all mine for decorating with toys and statues. Want it to look nice. Might do a moducase and a couple pedestals. We’ll see -

Macross 7 is dope in my opinion. But not for everybody.

Available at bbts is a good sign for things to come I think. Quite the markup though.

Basara and mylene are more expensive than anticipated. I think I can work them in though.

I haven’t opened my unicron yet and am tempted to sell but while it’s not perfect I do think it’s pretty cool. Especially planet mode. I may never transform it just because I’m lazy.

I really hope Bandai goes the way of Yamato in the fact they gave us some non canon schemes for the 1/48. I like the weird stuff.

Looks like unicron is fetching $1200+ bucks on eBay. BBTS has it up for $1400

It’s prob like how lando says Han.

The wife and I watched this last night. Had a great time. Perfect Friday night popcorn flick. And despite zombies being beat to death between 2008-2016 I still enjoy a good zombie movie (when done right). Certainly some funny parts. Absolutely some intentional tropes. Predictable in a lot of ways like "Oh, that dude is getting killed this way" (which I think is kind of fun).
The movie intentionally, what's the best way of putting this, made fun of itself at times? When trying to start the helicopter the sound it made first started with a radial piston motor sound (think WW2) mixed in and when it died ended with the unmistakable Millennium Falcon "oh crap, it just broke" sound. I was cracking up! I can't help but think of the sound people laughing their tails off when they were putting that together.
There was some banter about time paradox between two characters at one point in the movie and I didn't make the possible connection and I'm not sure it's a thing (I'd have to watch it again) but my wife planted the seed that the "last man standing" was actually the alpha/OG "zombie" (which I think is a super soldier program gone wrong) and the events were going to repeat themselves. It's pretty thin, but there could be something there.
Watched it yesterday. Cheesy but I thought it was good. I was interested in how it would end.

I still hadn't seen the first movie, lol. Is it good?
I’m into venom so I thought it was enjoyable.

Against better judgement I preordered the mando speeder bike and scout.

Unicron showed up today. Prob keep him in planet mode. Don’t know if I feel like transforming for an hour.

I’ve never collected as an investment but damn do I have a lot of stuff to move. I don’t know if I plan on boxing everything up or just shoving them in the pod we’re renting and moving them one by one. Or whatever I can carry at once.
totally psyched to be able to display all my statues now.
