Would this mean the cited famitsu article was different from the one I just posted? There was no confirmation that the content was similar. Might shaloom be mistaking Ohnogi for someone like Yoshino? I can atleast confirm and perhaps the others too that there was a cited magazine interview last year stating that Sheryl was supposed to have a small role as opposed to Ranka if it weren't for the fans. That is why they made the story into a battle between two rival singers. Minmeis so to say. That might be the reason why Ranka was shafted in the end to spare limelight on Sheryl. Two little queens ending. Personally, I didn't like the two Minmeis thing because Alto's character was shafted the MOST. I agree with Final Vegeta on that. Unless there was an actual link to the source saying that Ohnogi did work on the second half then I guess it is. To add to Bobby's mysterious radio program, I also didn't find any news of Ohnogi joining the MacrossF staff and taking over. I'm just as confused as you are right now to be honest. Hi all new poster. This thread plus Gubaba got my attention. Final Vegeta's hate towards Ohnogi was dramatic. Calm down man. The article "might" not even be true. Ohnogi might not even have written episodes 18-24. Unless someone has a stronger source saying otherwise. I'm ready to concede. Here's what I found. The special mention of Ohnogi was due to the help he provided in episode 10 (Legend of Zero) regarding the script. He was the scriptwriter of Macross Zero as we all know. That is all.
