  1. Easy. The wash is clay based, even after its dry, get a toothbrush, a small cup of water, and remove from the panel lines. I use a Qtip to clean up any areas that look a little "dirty" from pure white areas after t get the lines crisp. Experiment around with it. It will stain matte pure white valks.....if you leave it on long enough. Which is cool if you're going for a weathered look. However, with the Bandai glossy stuff, you're safe from that.
  2. You really shouldn't be Spanner. It's super easy and 100% reversible if you're not happy. I recommend trying it on a Bandai 25 first as they are super glossy and that is the best place to start for a first try. I always start on the underside of one wing to see how the wash is going to flow over the surface. The glossier the easier. The older Yamato stuff is a little harder because of the matte finishes.
  3. Finally got around to panel lining my 30. Came out good. ProModellers Dark Dirt clay based wash was applied with a small paint brush and excess was wiped off with a barely moist finger/cloth.
  4. I loved my 94 Vette with the pop up headlights....when they both worked properly. Lol. I did a lot of "winking" at people some nights. Good times.
  5. Woke up to a payment request email from AmiAmi. Cool. 19,530 yen shipped EMS to TX. Got me a "Rod" on the way soon! On a side note...first time going from battroid back to fighter last night on my Ozma 29... Thank god for Anymoon video showing how to do the arms! Damn...that was a battle.
  6. I gotta go to bed, so I want with AmiAmi. Would have rather waited for HLJ, but I'll take a chance this time.
  7. Snagged one. Thanks!
  8. had knee surgery yesterday, so I'm gonna have lots of Valk time the next few days, got around to transforming and playing with my Ozma 29 this morning. loving this thing.
  9. Great job!!!
  10. Well, I got up and it's gone again. Dammit. Good price there as well.
  11. "They're will be blood"...when you tranform it...LOL...
  12. Ok. Thanks.
  13. What was the original USD price for this at pre sale?
  14. Needs more knife......
  15. what's next for Arcadia??? ....... A Tampo printing machine???.....ohh....too soon?
  16. I vote for Ozma's. Because it has a badass cow skull with a freakin sword through it, and that's just better. Fact.
  17. Damn, I kinda want this now. You guys suck. Thanks!
  18. that brownie needs panel lining and stickering!!!! He's tooo naked!
  19. that looks awesome!!! great job! love the letters on the screen!
  20. Mixed a custom blue grey color for the Darth Tie and got it laid down this morning. No drama there for a change! Found a cool color of spray paint for the Death Star base as well. while at Home Depot. Only thing lacking now is masking and painting the black solar wing panels. Joy! Cant decide if I want to clear coat this thing and do a Pro-Modeler's wash on it or if I want to leave it un-panel lined. Lots of nice crisp lines and details from BanDai on this kit. Arguments could be made from both sides..hmmm..
  21. I had this all under control..more or less...until the Frontier Valk buying started...
  22. Your build looks amazing John! Amazing weathering! Love the light scratches around the front eye part.
  23. Good review! I'll pick one up if they do a different paint scheme somewhere down the road.
  24. Next up...a little Darth Tie ... This is a really simple little kit, only drag is you gotta mask the solar parts on the wings if you want to paint it properly, which I do....I guess...lol. Also I noticed your only canopy choices are no windows with frame only or mask and paint the clear one. Fail. Thanks Bandai.
