    This is in regards to the Toys; Jetwing Prime I had been wanting to get this but They are going for STUPID prices Ebay One has it at 206 cdn and shipping is 91.44 for a total of 297.44 the other has it for 284.14 cdn and 82.66 shipping for a total 366.80 I am not sure a figure that is not painted like buster prime is worth that much let be fair in canadian prices its 50 bucks and the jet thing i dont think is worth more than 30 bucks. That brings your total to 80 bucks and 50 bucks should be enough for shipping since the BOX for both the PG Strike and 00 Raiser were 60 bucks to ship and were much bigger. So 130 shipped seems fair. Does takara know what kind of crackhead monkeys are selling this for. Even though Takara may not care this does affect their overall product image because people will not say look at that moron selling at that price but more so look at takara they think this is what their product is worth??? Anyway I will take that money instead and either get the new Fewture Shin Getter or Yamato SDF-1 seeing they wont be making a TV version

    So I saw DOTM Mind you I didnt pay for it and I enjoyed it at home. Lets say Im glad I didnt go. But I will admit its better than the second. But the second was so poo that movie needed to be warped to another dimension how shitty it smelled and therefore it doesnt really say much about the third Here are my speaking points;

    My initial feeling, Its not that bad. Its doesn't really feel very gundamish to me. I will try to watch it. I got the feeling they took elements from Macross frontier, Gundam and Gurren Lagann

    I think I am going to start shopping at Ami Ami, you guys seem to think they are the best source for valks. The kai I am looking at was priced on ebay and IIRC there were only three. I think they are rare. If I can find the Durandal for 150 plus shipping that's in my budget and I can still get getters 2 and 3.

    I have this on pre-order but something bothers me. Whether from Bandai or Yamato, Valks are mass produced. I want to get the Durandal and Yf-19 Kai but at 250 a pop plus shipping this has started getting out of control. Months later these prices drop like stone. Reason I am in conflict is because I have some spare $$ aside to get the Fewture Getters. Right now I only have enough to get Getter 2 and 3. I really like these collectibles but I also really like the Durandal and Kai! I can understand paying 300 for fewture Ex Chogokin as they are not mass produced but especially with Bandai having such market share why would their valks would be so expensive. I cant get both. I am not sure if the Kai and Durandal will still be available later and how much they would either depreciate or appreciate but I am leaning towards the Fewture getters. Its too bad that after so much exposure of Macross that the toys would still have such an expensive asking price....

    But overall Bandai has money and vast resources. I look at their MG Gunpla line and it has been nothing but improvements. Same with SOC and then with the Macross Frontier. It was slow in QC but quickly improved and faster than Yamato. Yamato seems to be hit or miss in nature in terms of QC. Their Ingrams are great, and the Zoids Liger I have is very good. Now with the fire valk out I have heard nothing but good things. But I am still confident in the quality control and engineering of their collectibles. Same can be said for Takara-Tomy except the last MP Hot Rod Disaster. Also, my friend in Japan said he read there was a PG Wing Custom Zero Version 2.0 coming out. Can anyone confirm?

    This could be a winner if they apply the Johnny 5 is Alive factor and really add character to the robot. I think I am alone in saying this will be a hit. It has a boxing element which always does well in terms of making the audience root for the under dog. It has a solid script unlike anything Bay did. At least Adam looks like a robot instead of a magnetic insect and probably wont have balls, pee on anyone or start humping someones leg. And I like the Block y look, it too has its purpose.

    hey buddy good to see your still around and doing gunpla! Looking good Looking good NAAAANIIIIII! Anyway I jumped at getting a victory. I also got the separate core fighters. What can I say Im a sucker for planes. Anyway as much as it looks good, I hate adding Ka Decals cause there are just so many! Decided to work on my other gunpla. But here are a few pictures of this exhausting project and the new pg and non gunpla MGs???

    Yes I would normally agree but meh I thought the same thing about the MiniMac. And what did I discover? After paying $200 plus CDN dollars for it half a year later HLJ is selling them for half the retail price. So Im waiting. I know they will be available.

    Bandai 1/100's line. Stupid bazillion parts formers Really a waste of plastic if you have to build it like building a gundam Yamato's VF-1 1/60 v1.0 line. I like it for the metal nostalgia but otherwise a poor implementation for transformation. MPC never had one was not enough of a sucker to get one. Cant say I really hate because i like my yammie 1/48 and v2. 1/60 VF-1's but overall im sick of the design. Looking at Optimus Prime as an example look at all the variations we get, while still maintaining the recognizable features of O.P. There are just too many VF-1s in the market now. There were so many "other" valks in the Mac. Universe. Why not do those.
