Well, I just recieved my 00-Raiser kit, today, and to be completely honest, I'm a bit overwhelmed. It looks like it's gonna be a hell of a lot of fun to build! For those folks who've done this kit, I have a question: In the head unit, do the eyes glow, as well as the red crown-piece? Thanks.

I just picked up the MG RX-78 GP02A 'Coating' version. (Yeah, I know, my model selection is a bit odd... ) Any particular tricks to keep the sprue-cuts from being too blatant on the finished model?

Recently, I ordered two items from HLJ. The PG -00 Raiser kit, and the 'Special Weathering' version of the OD Destroid Tomahawk. I ordered these items on 4/18, but since I slightly overspent my income tax refund, I had to wait until the following week-end to cover the slight defficit in payment. Needless to say, I got the payment in to them. And, here it is, three weeks later, and I still haven't gotten a shipping confirmation from them. Is this usual? Or, am I just 'special'?

Not for lack of trying, though... In her dialogue, Grace said something to the effect that the Protoculture feared the Vajra, and worshipped them as gods, even. Seeing this idea, she may have thought that she could systematically wipe out any and all resistance that came her way. Could she have? That's another thing, entirely. No one knows just how many Vajra there are. WE could have seen just a small fraction of the total galactic population in 'Frontier', and thier homeworld. WE do know that their evolutionary processes are damn-near instantanious, and they have incubation hives all over the place (That is, it's reasonable to assume so), so who knows just how amny there really are?

Seeing as I'm waiting for a PG -00 Raiser, I gotta ask... Why don't you like it? Or, more to the point, why do you think it barely qualifies as 'PG'?

Personally, I'd give vital parts of my anatomy for a 1/60 Scale PG RX-79(G)...

Speaking of Master Grades... I just picked up another pair of Master Grades, the RX-178 (Ver. 2), and the RX-93 V-Gundam. Both of these have mesh tubing, and I was wondering if there was anyone out there who'd buolt them, in case there's some special tricks for the tubing.

Best Movie Badguy of all time?
Robelwell202 replied to Mechamaniac's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Anthony Hopkins' 'Hanibal Lechter' was about the most evil bad guy I've ever seen. -
Miguel DeCervantes wrote a story about something like this...

Well, here's a thought. "It's a complete waste of time, since HG, RT, and the fanboy loyalists don't acknowledge Logic or Reasoning." How's that?

WEll, they kinda deserve it. The mindset of 'Piloted Transforming PLanes means ROBOTECH!', as idiotic as it is, opens them up for it.

Whats Lying on your Workbench MKIII
Robelwell202 replied to HWR MKII's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Aw, hell! I just ordered this kit, myself. Now, I'm drooling more like a madman than before! I can't wait 'til it gets here! Excellent job! -
Allow me to respond... RT2S + RT-TSC + HGMP/Mods = RA To expand... Robotech 2: The Sentinels + Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles + Harmony Gold's Marketing Practices (And, alternately, the behavior of thier mods) = The Reasonable Assumption of 'Tacky'. Class Dismissed.

Robelwell202 replied to sharky's topic in Movies and TV Series
But, for the simple fact that in many areas, Macross is unavailable, due to everybody's favorite company, Harmony Gold. Nice try. -
I'm much obliged for the pointers. I don't want to mess this one up. Thanks!

I just ordered the Gundam 00 Raiser kit from HLJ. Anyone got advise for putting this beast together? Also, I understand that the twin GN-drives light up, but there's a rumor going around that there's another light-up gimic included. Anyone have any info on this?

Great functionality, even when some big-ass alien thing rips a leg/engine off. Supremely futuristic fighter that still utilizes a catapult launch system (If it ain't broke, don't bother looking for an improved system!)

Okay... here's what I see. Situation A: Nostalgia Marketing. Tose few nostalgic people, eager to relive their youth, go to see the flick, and find it to be something completely alien in nature. The few level-headed, thinking people amongst them say "Wait a damn minute!" and scratch their heads. Situation B: New-Market Marketing The prospective new fans that HG wants to bring in see the movie, and get awful confused by transforming fighter planes. "Didn't Bayformers already do that???" they say, and walk out, thinking HG's got a big 'L' tattooed on their collective forehead.

That would be beautiful, and I have no doubt that Blue could pull it off. however, in the story that the model's based on, the hagnar's just been restored to pristine condition. All them stains and gouges were fixed.
