  1. Personally, I got over the aesthetic issues a long time ago. In my experience, though, if they sacrificed those details to make a durable and playable toy, then they failed in every count, because mine is neither durable nor playable. And yeah, I'm gonna make comparisons to the model because THAT VF-25 STAYS TOGETHER AND THE DX ONE DOESN'T. And no, I didn't glue the kit together or anything.

That said, Yamatos at least look good before they fall apart.

Im agree, my VF-25F turned into display piece after two days and three transformations when the toy starting to lose paint ... SMS stamp ... numbers ... chest lines ... only putting the fingers over during transformations  , also is fair compare the toy cos we are not comparing Bandai and Yamato, we are comparing VF-25 models. ;)

After see the "two greens" my choice is turned on, cancelled my pre-orders of RVF-25 and VF-25 armour, looking for model-kit stuff.

I've been saying this since the start! A PG Grade 1/60 MF model kit, since the normal 1/72s are considered MG level. With a PG grade, we could even have movable flaps and other interesting stuff! It's not likely to happen though. There doesn't even seem to be much progress with the model kits after the VF-25 series is done. :(

You are not the only that was dreaming with that ... a PG 1/60 could be epic

  2. VF-171! Yessss!!

Nice to see Mr. K supervising the DX team... maybe he finally finished building all the model kits and now has time for the DX :p

I think that with the feedback that Bandai is receiving and Kawamori's input, we'll see improvements in the line. The downside is... how many DX versions of the same VF can we buy? :(

Is to late to make a new version, may be Q4 or next year or never ...

I´m really disappointed with the DX, lack of acuracy, wing bend up, paint lose, legs problem, back plate that no cover all ...

The interview is marketing BS all, the entire mechanism that supports the transformation of the model is a disaster, including the shoulders that is the worst.

I made this conclusion comparing the DX with the 1/72 model kit, that is awesome, full acuracy, good legs, good wings, awesome back plate ...

I´m thinking in cancel my RVF-25 and VF-25S Armour, and concentrate on model kits untill the DX turned on other way.

  3. Sorry I haven't read all 4 threads entirely yet. Is the leg issue the one where the area of the back part of the body isn't large enough for more of the leg to go through or is there another leg issue? How "big" of an issue is this b/c it doesn't look that bad. *ducks and hides*

I just ordered the Mikhail and Luca's from amazon.co.jp and having them sent to my in-laws in Japan. Yes I have no shame. Hahaha....my in-laws were like 2? They look the same. My jaw dropped and I whispered to my wife, they're different. One's blue and has a sniper rifle and other is mint green with a radar dish.

The leg problem is caused by a desing that only have one position, fast pack position, so the legs dont fit at all in figther mode, allways stay in lower position  , here a comparation of DX with the exelent kit model:

The kit is perfect, the legs up at all, in DX instead ...

The weapon from my avatar is from Evangelion Rebuild vesions of Bandai, the EVA-01 Movie version : http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN949498

by chance fits perfectly into the hands and the scale is perfect, pics B)) :

  4. I'm reading some interesting comments at the Japanese 2ch board...

I don't know if it's BS or not... as it is 2ch... but...

Supposedly, those "holes" we saw previously are for attaching the radar dome. And that the next release of Alto VF-25 (as well as Ozma I would assume) will have those holes too.

Also, the next release of Alto/Ozma will have a fix of - being able to raise those lower legs into more correct form in fighter mode.

All of this is not confirmed. It could just be 2ch BS. But this is something to look out for when the next release of Alto VF-25 comes.

The leg fix is hard to believe that is gonna happen, cos in the VF-25G haven´t, and is predictable that RVF-25 is in the same way.

  5. yeah! my set just shipped with a set of 1/60 strike parts.

I've already got an extra VF-25F to go with the decals, now all I need is a v2 1/60 to go with the strike parts

    Lolz

Seems I have the last, ordered two VF-25F kits but they send one decal only, and the page with related items is no more

I hope they do the same thing with Ranka decal

  6. Hire someone for wether work plus the cost of 1/48 is equal to buy this.

I think that this wether valks are so expensive, with this money I can afford a high end air brush and equipament to do it myself and have the equipament for others things.

  7. While supplies last, customers who purchase any of the Macross items listed below will receive one special "Deculture Decal"! Featuring an illustration of Sheryl Nome, the decal is intended for use with Bandai's 1/72 VF-25F Messiah Valkyrie Alto Custom.

You get one decal for each of the below items purchased. Ordering a multiple amount of the same item qualifies for a multiple amount of the decal.

The decals are available on a first-come, first-served basis, based on when orders are shipped, starting February 23.

Quantities are extremely limited. When the decals run out, we cannot get more, and this offer will end.

These are water-slide decals, designed to be applied to the finished kit in Fighter mode. After being applied, the decal may become damaged if the kit is transformed out of Fighter mode.

  8. That's pretty cool. Where'd you get the gun from (I don't remember seeing that with an Evangelion figure)?

Thanks ^_^ , the gun is from the new sets that launched Bandai to cover the Rebuild Of Evangelion, a Evangelion remake in four movies, you can see the gun in action in the first movie "Rebuild Of Evangelion : You are not alone", the DVD version is for sale in Japan B))
