  1. I pulled my Arii Misa figure out from the back of my display cabinet. the Arii 15th anniversary figures are supposed to be 1/6th scale and surprisingly is still bigger than klan.

Maybe the pose of Klan and the plataform that use the Misa figure help him to appear taller but seems equal in scale.

Omg the Macross Frontiers ladies are here, I´m so jealous :p , I demand pics !!! :D

  2. Yeah, agree, I want know the issues, thanks to broken shoulder reports I have play carefully with my v2s and have no one broken.

We all love Macross toys, but a toy thread must collect what is bad like what is good.

  3. I watched this Anime and I should to recomend:

    theskycrawlers2.jpg

The novel follows the journeys and tribulations of a group of young fighter pilots involved in dogfight warfare, and is set during an alternate historical period.

The genius behind this adaption to Anime is Mamoru Oshii, know for his work in Ghost in the Shell and in kerberos saga, that has influenced directly and have movies like Jin-Roh.

The film was an official selection of the 65th Venice International Film Festival, where it won the Future Film Festival Digital Award, and the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival. Later, the film competed officially at the famed International Film Festival of Catalonia in Sitges, where it won three separate awards: the Jose Luis Guarner Critic Award, the best original soundtrack (for Kenji Kawai) and best motion picture for a youth audience awards.

Already planed a Anime serie and two live films, Mamoru Oshii comeback, will be a sucess ?

  4. What does being a collector have to do with buying stuff on ebay. I consider myself a collector and I get stuff on ebay all the time. As long as the price is right, I don't care where I get them.

silversilver sounds like he was only trying to help just like Save does from time to time.

I need explain this really ?

As a collector I whant a item 100% safe in the box, E-bay have no guaranties that you´ll recive it, so is not a option for me.

Also E-bay help me if sell the item at prices like in store, but E-bay sellers are not to help people, they are to win money, so you can easy found Sheryl or Ranka over 200$.

I understand that someone likes this option but is not for me, first for price and second for safety.

  5. well since these are supposed to be raffle prizes, there's a 90-something% likelihood that they'll never release these again ever. so if you're not willing to buy from the secondary market on E-bay (or yahoo japan auctions) then I guess you're just F'd, Mmkay ^_^

should of ordered these back in December. :)

Unfortunately even in december as sold very fast <_<

No reissue ops, a miss then.

  6. Sorry, I'm afraid I can't...I'm trying to decide between that or the 1/72 model. :p

    -Kyp

I should recomend 1/72 to everyone !!, even if you are collecting DXs. :)

Is anime accurate in proportions and is a exelent enginnering piece, have exelent transformation base and articulated mechanims, and Is cheaper so no cost much have a try. :p

I give a try and has been amazed with this kit, have no equal, is a must have.

I have two VF-25F kits and already orderer RVF-25 and VF-25G, and waiting VF-25G with Armour ^_^ , this kits are sooooo adictive :D

  7. Here some info that I have found of how to :

    1. Cut out the decal with scissors, not a straight edge and razor knife. Our decals are delicate and will easily scratch or flake..

    2. Wet the area on the model BEFORE sliding on the decal. Use either tepid water or Micro Set (the one with the blue label).

    3. Dip the decal in water for only 5-10 seconds, remove it from the water and let it sit on your table for about a minute. DO NOT let the decal float off of the backing paper.

    4. Pick up the decal with self-locking tweezers, get it in position over the model, hold the decal in placed with either your finger or a soft brush, then pull away the backing paper letting the decal gently drop into place.

    5. Adjust the decal position with the brush, apply more water or Micro Set if the decal is hard to move around.

    6. Once the decal is in position, let it dry on its own, DO NOT MESS WITH IT unless it is in the wrong position.

    7. After the decal is dry AND you are sure it is in the right position, then apply your decal solvent of choice: Micro Sol or Solvaset.

    8. Absolutely positively do not touch the decal until it is dry, as the ink is wet and will smear which will ruin the decal.

    9. Once the decal is dry, clean up any residue with a Q-tip (swab) soaked with water and mild dish detergent.

    10. Apply your clear coat of choice to seal the decal. Do not skip this step!!! This is critical.

I hope these steps help, and remember a good decal job does not look like a decal at all!

    Two greens

I didnt really look that closely for that photo... But you're right. o_o. Let the panic commence (if it hasnt already) XD

Well, I do experimented panic when I do knew that Bandai own the exclusive rigths, then I do worried by the inaccuracy of the model, then I pleased myself thinking that is a strong toy and MFs toy, so I do buy it, then I do disappointed by the amount of quality problems, and finally I do faced the reality that this product is to expensive for the amount of inaccuracy of the model and quality problems that have.

So I dont buy any more, but I will stay tuned if Bandai do a good reissue., but is only my opinion and what I will do in my position ofcourse.
