I have to say, Furuichi's turn is just a wee bit cliched. I think we all saw that coming a mile away.

1. I don't recall "destiny" being the word he used. I'd have to watch it again, but I am pretty sure what Ozma is talking about there is a strange coincidence, as Mao may have been the team leader of the project Ranka's mother was working on. 2. How could they clone Roy, he was long since dead at that point. 3. Probably related, but we just don't know.

No they didn't, but that's ok. I wish I could steer you in the right direction, but I'm just not as avid of a gamer these days.

If Sheryl does die, whatever she does before her death will end with her being remembered as the savior of the Frontier fleet. That's my feeling.

Alto did not choose Ranka. I am telling you, everyone goes their own way, they each have their own destinies.

Sheryl is a far more compelling character because of her tragic story. Which is why she is better thank Ranka, who is just a sci-fi plot device.

I'd like to see the original series reanimated without deviating from the original designs or intent, going as far as keeping the original vocal tracks. But, if I had to pick something new, I'd like to see a Megaroad era OVA. I am not looking for the -01, but there are some absolutely wonderful and totally underused designs waiting to shown in all their glory. The mid to late 80's Macross art is just better than anything before or since, in my mind. Everytime to see the VF-4/Misa on the bridge scene in Flashback, I just get so jazzed about how great they look. Alot of what they'd produced design wise since then just seems so uninspired.

There are some movies being listed here that I just don't see belonging in the "guilty pleasure category".
