I'm going to post this here and this might be the lowest that I've seen it go for.
DX YF-19 Full Set for grabs at 23k yen (opened, used, box heavily damaged). See pics if interested.
I haven't been variable fighter shopping since 2007. What differences are there between the yamato '19 and the bandai?

Nin nin doesnt bother me. If they cancel my order I get my money back and spend close to the same amount on ebay or wherever else. Again, just for Roy, I could spend $500 to have his ultimate '1S. My only problem is the shipping time. They're in Australia? Great. I'll be waiting for the kangaroos to get that thing to me...

It's not up yet @moose as it's not officially released yet.
If you want to get one, then this is your option for now.
Hell no...

Well I'm awake and about to head to the gun range. Wow, what a sh*tshow last night. Tried on my phone on home Wifi as it is faster, but still got absolutely nowhere with AmiAmi, CD Japan, HS, or HLJ. I never even saw a pre-order button. I was trying for about 25 minutes at which time HLJ was saying Error 404 and AmiAmi just flat wouldn't load. The others just always showed Sold Out form 2:00AM on. Oh well, I saved $200+. Wasn't dying to have it anyway. I kinda knew that getting the 1J might very well end up being the ONLY DX I would ever get at retail, which is fine. Whatever.
On another note, I would like, someday, to fly to Japan and punch Bandai's Director Of Marketing dead in the nose just one time, for all of us.
Peace out.
Lol. Have fun at the range...

As I've said before, I didn't really want more George Lucas movies either. But I think the prequel trilogy was better than the sequel trilogy because, as bad as it was, it was the movies someone actually wanted to make. There was a passion there. A gravely misguided passion, but passion nonetheless.
The Disney films are the movies that some accountants armed with focus group studies calculated would check all the boxes for a maximal return on investment. The have no heart, no soul. They aren't the movies ANYONE wanted to make.
There is no better assessment of the prequel and sequel trilogies than this post right here...

LOL. It's too late to regret now, just see about getting another preorder that will let you pay later in the mean time to hedge your bets, that's what I'm trying to do. Worst comes to worst, we buy once at inflated prices and cry once and chalk it all up to experience.
You're right. Either way, we will win in the end. Its just the matter of how we win and get what we want...

i have raised a ticket with them and even used facebook to report this. but nothing from them. not sure where they are based tbh
what a great day
They're in France? Also, why would the price go up? None of this makes any sense...

How is that even possible...

If this one from Bandai pulls that crap, or anything else equally ridiculous, I'll just stick to my fighter mode only Calibre Wings Roy 1S and never look back.
I feel that way about my '60 V2 Roy. I have it parked beside my '60 YF 19 and 21; even if the DX Roy is perfect it's not going to take the place of the V2 just because of the issue of scale...

You and me both, first thing I will be checking for is that along with the skulls on the tailfins to make sure they're printed straight, that was a thing with Yamato and their 1/48's - their 1/60 V2's as I recall.
I will never forget my Yamato '0S and its fingers crumbling apart into my hands. Its one of the reasons why I stopped collecting these things...

Huh. I guess we'll see if my bank rejects it as it's the main payment that I'm using for Paypal right now.
Yeah me too. Maybe we'll all be better off lol...

Yep, there is a lot of glorious tampo on these. As someone who hates putting on stickers, I like it.
Yeah my place is filled with mecha, models and RC cars with crooked and peeling labels all over them that I applied; I'll take the tampo any day lol...

My idiotic bank rejected the transaction, now NIN NIN says i have to order again, even when the order says "awaiting payment" I am so insanely angry right now.
I dunno man. Like an idiot I started researching Nin just now, and the feedback from other customers is not good. I think you might be better off lol...

Damned good question. I was asking the same thing, you'd think that making a 2202 Andromeda would have been a no brainer, looks like we're going to have to wait and see if they do a 2205 Andromeda. Was shocked they did a Soul of Chogokin GX-89 Garmillas Warship
That makes no sense. I'm not knocking the garmilas ship, but a new SOC Andromeda would've killed it. But I guess Bandai didnt see it that way?

Freaking amazing to be frank. Motorized turrets, lights, sounds, and voice files now, more detail like the Bandai models have and even the decks have the wooden like color as in the anime. No side opening doors to show the hangar, probably due to the turret motors taking up room.
As far as I'm concerned, it's the best SOC Yamato to date. Bandai has consistently stepped up their game with each new release. I cannot wait to see what they come out with for Yamato 2205.2205? Man I'm really out of it. Question: whatever happened to the idea of another SOC Andromeda?

Yeah, I was able to score a like new SOC GX-86 for under $300, new they're around $350 and up before shipping, geez...
Ah yamato. I still have my gx 64, but I had to program a generic IR remote to activate the sound and lights because the original remote broke. How is that 86?

Wow, and here I thought Roy wasnt that popular in japan, or is it being sold out strictly to international markets?
Isnt that typical of anime and their toys anyway? More popular in markets outside of japan? For example yamato 2199 and.....cant think of anything else lol...

Just pick it up on release day through the shops or ebay. Sure, you'll pay a little more than the F5 banging PO guys, but it's for ROY, so like an arranged intimate encounter with Scarlett Johansson, its worth every penny. Frankly, I'm feeling silly that I allowed myself to get swept away by the madness, with a questionable company to boot. Like a great bald man once said, being first, at any cost, isn't always the point...
