  1. I guess that's a "no."
Haha! I took a look at it. Doesn't look much different from the original Garland (part 1). My guess would be that it's the exact same design and that any differences are due to artistic license taken by the ingame artist. It does appear rather stylized in comparison.

    Edit:

Also, if you want to save pics of it (and have access to image editing software), you can always just take a screen shot of each pic (press 'print screen', etc.) and go from there.

  2. Toynami beats out Beagle for me. The opaque face shield, lower price tag and awesome packaging seals the deal.

I have the Toynami Scott Bernard and MH Yellow. I don't have a CMs to make a practical comparison, but the vid reviews made it pretty clear that CMs aren't much fun to handle. I may find out for myself one day if I find one dirt cheap.

As for the Megahouse: Aside from the lazy design aspects that resulted in parts-forming, it was a pretty decent first Ride Armor purchase. I even found a way to keep the fork on in its Armor configuration. Remove it, turn it 180 degrees, and reattach it. It fits right between the tires...and really doesn't look as weird as it sounds.

  3. Anyway, Megazone. Never saw Part III. Worth it?
I'm one of the many that dislike it. It's far too cyber-punk for my liking, and I'm actually into that kinda stuff. The best part of it is the EX Garland, but you don't get to see much of it. The plot does offer some backstory connecting it to the first two, but it comes off as tacked on.

The first two would have been better served if the third was a totally unrelated entity. That said, if this were the case, I sure wouldn't have it in my DVD collection.

  4. I skipped Powerglide because I didn't like his bot proportions. Too bulky upstairs for my taste. Kind of the same reason I never really liked the original. Sort of bittersweet for me because I love the A-10. Come to think of it, I haven't liked the bot modes on any of the A-10 (or A-10 inspired) Transformers.
Gobots had a decent Warthog bot. No hands on him, though. Bad Boy...
  5. The goofy waiter getup is what finally convinced me to get Grimlock

HLJ shipped mine this morning, can’t wait to get it.

Yesterday I received my MP Prime. Truly a beautiful (and heavy) thing to hold. All the detail with the working pistons is amazing. The articulations is great (a pity the elbows aren't double jointed) and the transformation is very fun.

I still find THS Prime to be my favourite Optimus but the MP really is a must have. Now I feel like I need a Mp Megatron

If you're getting MP Megatron -awesome figure, by the way- I also recommend his accessory kit. The two leg armor pieces that come with it are die cast. They replace his existing plastic armor and give him quite a bit of heft. Of course, MP Optimus still greatly outweighs him.
  6. The pictures of the old series "Mighty Orbots", Its sad when you were a little of 80's you might have at one point though that was cool. Now those are some Fugly mecha designs!!!
    Who? This guy? mo2.gif

Granted, the individual Orbots are awful. But once merged, the big guy is pretty decent...albeit, blocky and simple.

  7. Time to end all debate with this...

Yes, it's bad Photoshop work. And no, it's not someone's fan art; it's actually an official wallpaper for a Philippine-made movie.

 LMAO!! ^_^ That one of the main characters is played by a guy named Dingdong is funny enough for me!
