  1. Sure, if by perfect you mean fantastic mecha having really flashy battles. Story-wise, it was a mess.

That said, I don't want a remake of it either... I'd rather just forget about it, and hope for a Unicorn or Crossbone Gundam anime.

Yes, Unicorn animation would make more sense.

  2. First transformation of the Proto-Garland (which is gorgeous) and one of the legs snapped. The upper rotating part broke internally, where I'm worried if I glue it then it won't be able to rotate anymore.

    Any advice?

    Contact Angolz?

    Contact Yamato USA?

Funny, the Proto is cooler, but the Factory seems more solid and stable.

It happen to me too... I contact the shop where I bought from and they contact Yamato for me. And the part is just shipped!

  3. Man, I don't know what it is about this toy, but it doesn't seem to photograph well. Just about every pic I've seen online has been rather unflattering, to the point where I kept my Ozma and Alto sitting in their boxes for a few weeks, unsure as to whether or not I even wanted to bother with them. Well, after nearly tripping on one of the boxes last night, I decided, "what the hell" and opened the VF-25F. Fast forward a few hours later, where I'm posing Ozma and Alto like crazy, transforming them over and over... I think I'm in valk heaven. These guys are solid, sturdy and extremely fun to handle. Absolutely worth the $125 each I spent. Not one of my many Yamato figures has ever brought me this much (worry-free) joy. Honestly, in person, the chunkiness is not really noticeable to my eyes (though things like the landing gear, rubber head lasers, etc. definitely take off points). Like I said, I have yet to see a pic online that accurately coveys just how awesome these are. All you guys who hate these without handling one should at least see them in person. I'm now extremely excited for the Michael and Luca ones I preordered...and I'm almost ready to drop the ridiculous cash for the Alto Super Parts. Well, maybe.

I must say that the DX looks a lot better than I thought - when I see them display in the shop.

However I bought the model kit instead after all, it is only 250 Hong Kong dollar (around 32 US dollar), can't beat it!

  4. I could stand to see less versions of VF-1s in exchange for more destroids and dare I say it?!?! :o

A 1/60 Reguld and even a 1/60 Glaug! :) After all whats the point in having all these 1/60 VF-1s without something for them to fight? Besides I am getting alittle tired of hanger scene Dioramas. (no I'm not!)

Same here. We needs 1/60 Reguld and Glaug!!! ^_^

  5. I still think we need a 1/60 Glaug and Regult. I love my valks but a collection really is incomplete without the enemy mechs to go with them. I can't see my self picking up more than 2-3 different variants of the VF-1 (especially now that my VF-1S has the shoulder problem) but if Yamato wants to milk more money out of me I will defiantly pick up a Spartan, a Gluag and the Regult. Especially if they turn out as awesome as the Tomahawk and Defender did.

    Yes

After ver.2 VF1, re-issue both Queadluun Rau and two Destroids... If Yamato smart enough, they really should do some new enemy mechs soon.

  6. Sigh. Aside from the 1D, Super Ostrich, and Elintseeker I'm growing tiresome the VF-1.

Yamato should give us what all Macross fans want......a 1/60 VF-4 Lightning-III.

I would love to see that happen too.

But I guess Bandai 1/100 would have a better chance...

I really hope ver2 VF1 will come with a stand as well!

  7. Bandai start to sell Macross 7 1/100 & 1/144 model kit ( same as selling during 94/95)

Bandai either resell this kind of old stuff or will start Macross 7 product line.

Who knows, Bandai alwasy does what we can't expect

With Macross Frontier Movie coming later this year. Not surprise to see Bandai trying to mike every single Macross products in the felowing months...

Just hope they will make some new toys from Macross Seven, rather than just 're-issue'.

  8. I guess i wouldn't want her any taller, she's a nice size standing next to the 1/5000 Wave Macross...

Yes, I love my Minmay figure. (but she fell a few time while I was moving her around for taking some photos with my phone, oh dear!)

Just wish the Wave SDF-1 is 1/3000....

  9. Got my OD Tomahawk yesterday (yeah, I couldn't wait, so kill me).

Quick question: Is it supposed to come with two sets of stickers, or just one? I only got the special OD sheet with all the white stickers on it, but the main ones like the triangles for the missile hatches and UN Spacy markings weren't on it, so it seemed to me that they would include the standard sheet too, but it wasn't in there.

I don't have the OD version, but I think it should have two sticker sheets..., isn't it?
