No. Yamato already milked us with dozens of VF-1's the last 3 years. Its time they gave us some new designs. Or if they fixed the issues with the Macross Zero valks and reissued them, I will go for that. Anything except another VF-1.

I put my macross in the shelf for display. Once in a while I would transform them, change their pose, remove SnS parts, etc. If Im not fiddling with them, I dont put them back in the box as IMO it would be a waste of money buying something expensive and just tucking them away inside their boxes. For my part,they are mostly for display purposes as I never get tired admiring the detail and engineering put into these toys. And no I dont zoom them around the house.

Thanks bro. The Yamato valk stands are quite expensive for what they are but I guess Ill buy those cos there's no other options. On another note, does any of you ink the panel line of your valks? I noticed this guy inked the panel lines in his vf-1s I must say it has a quite nice effect. Wonder what kind of pen he uses for panel lining?

Hey Fellas. Coming back to Macross collection after a Hiatus. Sadly I have sold most of my previous Yamato 1/60 models. THe only ones left are the VF-1J Hikaru and VF-1S Roy all Yamato 1/60 scale. Im starting back again and just recently purchased the VF-22 Gamlin from amiami(50% off hehehe) ANyway, my question is, can the flexi-stand now known as flightpose(http://flightpose.com/) hold the valks in battroid mode? I checked the pics and the rods have rounded ends. Logic would dictate that it cant hold the valks in battroid mode but I asked anyway to be sure. THanks :-) Edit: Are there any other options for valk stands out there? I think I will be collecting only the 1/60 scales from Yamato and Bandai. Thanks again.

I have a quick question guys. The VF-1S Roy Focker with Super and Strike parts is the fixed edition right? While the VF-1S Roy Focker stand alone is the one with exploding shoulders?

Hey monster. I check GreatToys online message board everyday for new arrivals. They have retailer here in Cebu. 8500 pesos sounds like a reasonable enough price. Im all for it. Just waiting for the stock to arrive.

The VF-0S is taking very long to reach the Philippines. Im getting a bit impatient. Might order them overseas if it doest arrive this January.

It wont take tou anywhere, it'll take your wallet and credit card though. Im still waiting for the local shop to get one. Im sure Im going to buy this once it arrives here.

Here in the Philippines, only the Robotech version was aired and it was only up to the point when the whole Bodolzaa fleet came out of hyperspace defolded over the Earth. After that they always replay the series back to episode 1. It was so frustrating. It was during a time when cable TV was not yet popular and we had to make do with what the local channels gave to us. It was only after 5 years later that I learned that Robotech != Macross. After researching more about Macross and Robotech, Ive came to a decision to avoid Robotech and stick with Macross because the story is more coherent :-)

Hahaha cool review there. I have a noob question guys. Is the transformation for all the 1/60 version2 VF-1 the same? I have a VF-1J and I cant find a transformation video for it. Theres plenty for the VF-1A though. So are all the transformation sequence the same for VF-1A, 1S and 1J? Thanks.

Yeah that's the way to go. HAPPY NEW YEAR my fellow forumers. I started my valk collection 3 months ago and I got 4 valks now, SV-51 Nora, YF-19, YF-21 and the VF-1J SnS. When I told mom they cost around $200 each, she was speechless. Anyway, the VF-0S is coming in January right? Me: Ma, Im gonna buy a new macross toy next month, costs around the same price as the others. Mom: Why dont you just buy me a new LCD TV? Me: ...... It got me thinking, with that amount I could have bought some other great things. But a fanboy is a fanboy. I cant resist the call to arms of buying new Toys, but Ma had a point. So my new year's resolution is to just buy toys that I absolutely WANT and not to be some sort of completionist buying just for the sake of having 1 of each valk.

COOL. All the wait would be worth it if they fixed the shoulders good. Hope no other issues will pop out of this new VF-0S

Ill post a closeup pic of the shoulders once Ive transformed it. I dont really know what to look out for in the shoulders .
