AAGH! With the currency rate changing, the VF-25 cost a lot more than I expected (with other kits in mind).

ToT I think I'll wait longer till the pricing it right before I make any other orders from HLJ.

Oh great masters of MAF, I need your advice once again.

I've got S or SS in every Mac Plus regular stage now except the one called 'After Dark, Torch Song' (Oor something like that).

It's the two-part stage where you start in space, kill lots of VF-1A and some VF-11 and then the second part has you fighting Guld and Isamu in the clouds.

I can take out all the cannon fodder in the first part really easily and quickly and then also take out both Isamu in his YF-19 and Guld in his YF-21 quickly, especially if I'm using the special attack of the YF-21, but I still can't get higher than B.

Is there some special trick or condition of this stage?

Am I supposed to be keeping one of them alive or something instead of killing them............confused?

What I did was get what ever score I had for that, went to complete Frontier while sticking to the VF-25G.

After completing all the Era's and having to be able to select any VFs for any stage.

I went back to the stage " 'After Dark, Torch Song' (or something like that) ".

Select VF-25G (also, Max tune it ^^)

First part (space), Kill off the fodders. (your SP gauge will fill up in the process).

For the second part (sky/clouds), both Isamu, Guld will clash, I don't know if you notice, they fly into each other in the beginning. (Happens in my game anyway).

Thrust/lurch forward in plane mode and transform into Battroid mode with timing.

By the time they clash together, use VF-25G's SP and neutralise the threat in one shot. I got a S/SS this way.

Might take a couple of attempts to get it right or sheer luck.

Quite a few swap parts. And it looks good in plane mode. The bad point, it the canopy, the windshield colour should be purply-blue.

I hope the articulation is good, not like those Gundam Fix Figure line haha. The Damashii line, gives me hope and I would get 2 of them so I can put them in with my Gundams and other 1/100s. VF-25G is definitely on my list of purchase

I enjoyed watching Rebuild of Evangelion 1.0. Alot of changes from the TV series, watched it twice, third time tonight.

The preview of Unit 02 (or 弐号機(Nigouki)) looks alright except that they could do better with the head. The ANIMA version has a mordern look with the horns on the head, why not with the new rebuild version?

More black and white colours on the Eva instead of red and orange like the TV counterpart. I guess it gives it colour variant and detal? I wonder if it would glow like Eva Uni 01 XD

Anyways, I've been trying on Ex Sad Sniper for hours and only at one time managed to let Berera flee to get a C rank.

I always get barraged by Bajura (Vajura) L's on in the third wave (along with Alto).

Besides that, I got VF-27 to play with

Yay, after 22 hours playing the M7 missions, I finally tuned up all but the sound force mecha to the limit, got an S rank on all the missions and my first ever SS on the Ex mission with Max doing the canyon run in his VF-22 (this had been giving me a lot of trouble).

On to the Macross Plus missions at last.

Macross 7 was the most easiest to get S Ranks.

I haven't tuned up much of the planes, I only tuned the ones that I use in favor of the mission X3

Same as you, my first SS Rank Ex Mission was Max in the canyon river way, I coward behind rocks while shooting the gun at the enemies ^^;

The hardest one I did so far is with the VF-22 Guld(?) against Ghost and Macross, Got a SS Rank for it finally

If you meant the Ranka art, I just spotted it on Google image search. It was on a blog but the blogger did not source the image or credit the artist.

I'm trying to order the game from Amazon.co.jp but I keep getting the following message:

I don't get it; why can't I purchase this game? I've purchased CDs (Macross Frontier OSTs) and Blu-ray discs (Macross Frontier) from them before, so what makes this game any different? Is there someone here that can translate Kanji well? I'm taking a Japanese class...but I'm struggling with the Katakana and Hiragana as it is...Kanji is way over my head. Why can't they use rooma-ji? ='(

My copy of the game came through and only been able to play a bit of it last night.

I played a bit more today and loving it. Its pretty hard to 'S' Rank the missions, Though I kept getting eaten by Hikaru haha. I'm cake for him... I still need to get used to the controls, I think I rather have the analog stick as movement rather than transformation. I need to look at the booklet to see how to use SP properly.

I'd thought I'd be playing Frontier first but I had the urge to play from the first in chronicle order X3

New game besides MHF2 XD

I worked on the top view for the same VF (VF-25F).

This time, I had to do some adjustments as the photo of the kit was really uneven and it was non symmetrical.

Although it is not anime accurate, I had it done from the model kit manuals. Its like 90% accurate to the kit...

I only just finished it, the first colour scheme I went with is Ranka (again).

Yeah... this is something I would fly in, DECULTURE!

(And if it was a model kit, I hope it would look something like the attachment ^^; )

Is it me or is it that Ozma's VF yellow markings a tad different?

I've been working on a VF-25S LineArt (LA) based from the 1/72 manual.

Manual I used was supplied from Dalong.net.

I should be able to colour it Friday night (tomorrow night) and finish it on Saturday ^o^/

I wanna get the 3 VFs now, they look good (well, once painted and decal'd).

At the moment, VF-25s is being re-released along with Ozma's VF.

You can use it in any stage, but it's unlocked from an extra mission stage

What's a good, free, all in one program that's easy to use for a beginner? I would use MS paint but it doesn't have the snap to point function where you can start a new line from the end point of a previous line. I have trouble placing lines where another one left off.

GIMP, its free and it works like Photoshop (from what I've heard).

With GIMP, you can achieve results close enough to Photoshop. The tools are probably similar to Photoshop too.
