There are not scaled Revoltech figures, except the Fraulein, which are technically 1/8 scale IIRC.
Pete
Hey Pete, thanks for the heads up...but i figured that since the Yamato Chirico is measured height at 5.25 inches, anything near that height should suffice.
Now Im just curious and i know this may sound very random so please don't judge

but would this Dougram figure or Ingram 1 Movie Version figure or Brocken fit in and sit properly in a Yamato 1/12 Votoms Scopedog?

Im searching for a 1/12 scaled revoltech figure to fit in my 1/12 scaled Votoms scopedog. Any Suggestions?
-
The Mecha looks to be inspired by Votoms.

Im currently in the market for a Yamato 1/12 Scopedog version 2 for a fair price.

maybe i don't fully understand the symbols but i still feel my wife and her friends shouldn't be in this forum until i can
better understand it.
those insulting posted would bring nothing but trouble if my wife and her friends became members.
there are still some un-friendly people here.
whoa...take it easy there buddy. Its all just a misunderstanding.

I have a complete Matchbox Robotech Skull Leader with original box. I am thinking about selling it but depends on whether I get a decent offer or not.
Do you have any pics?

Please let me know if any are available for sale.

Quick question guys, In regards to the BMF docking bay where the escape pod is being held. Im not a big fan the escape pod, so i was considering on replacing it with something else that is not star wars related:
Will a Bandai/Matchbox VF-1 Joke Machine fit in the docking bay?

On a forum that's devoted to a "real robot" anime which way do YOU think the numbers will skew?
Good point Dangard Ace
, obviously "real robot" anime looks to be pulling off a landslide but i always considered the Macross series to be more of a mixbetween the two genres.

All of the excellent opinions are much appreciated!
Based on everyones suggestions ive compiled a list of mecha anime series i am considering:
1. Blue Gender
2. Eureka Seven
3. Astro Boy 2003
4. Code Geass
5. Full Metal Panic
6. Mobile Suit Gundam (original)
7. Patlabor
Hopefully im headed in the right direction!

Greetings,
Recently, Ive been looking for some good mecha anime to watch but im new to the game and have little knowledge of whats good. So far ive seen all of Macross and Votoms and enjoyed both. I generally do not like the idea of super robots with crazy and bright designs...ala weapons coming out of their butts etc etc
.. I prefer more real looking military style mechs in dark to dull colors. I havent really given Super Robot Anime a chance and would like to know your opinion on the matter. Is Military (real) Mecha Anime > Super Robot Anime ? or is it the other way around?
-
True, but this Shinsen version blows away the old fansub that was circulating the torrent sites. Its worth the re-download just for the improved image. I took a look at their web site and theres no mention of the other OVAs (other than somebody asking that very question on their forums).
I concur, its definitely worth the re-download to replace the old fansub.

I'm just going to post it every time I get it... keep track on how often it happens.

I’m currently watching Escaflowne. Premiering in 1996, The Vision of Escaflowne was the brainchild of creator Shoji Kawamori (Macross). Evangelion, which came out roughly at the same time may get a lot more acclaim and recognition, but in my humble opinion, Escaflowne was the best mecha anime from the 1990s. From the very beginning, Escaflowne achieves the feeling of escaping to a fantastic world called Gaea with large heaping spoonfuls of pure atmosphere. Gaea is a gorgeous place, and Escaflowne delivers a full visual and aural tour. Check it out!

Saw the two versions of Yamato's RC 1/24 scale IR battle Scopedogs are now out. Saw them in Animate for HK$980 each (approx US$126 each).
Very cool. Love to have these so I could have RC scope dog battles with my son.
Graham
RC Scopedogs?

Do you know if they will have an opening cockpit?

Hmm...while im at it...anyone have a spare 1/48 AG-N01 Next ATM-09-DD Burglarydog they'd be willing to part with? If so let me know what you'd be willing to let yours go for.

If you are looking for a Takara RDM-3 Red Shoulder custom, I have one in excellent condition (displayed a bit, rarely played with, has everything) that I am looking to part with. PM me if you are interested.

The RDM-3 is probably the best ever issue/re-issue of the classic Takara 1/24 Scopedog toy. As long as you understand that this is from the time of the 1/55 Chunky-monkey era, what you get is a highly detailed and durable classic toy complete with fully painted standing/seated pilot figures... which has never been done before for any 1/24 Scopedog Dual Model. The bonus is a fold out poster with original art by Kunio Ohkawara... No CGI can't beat that that painted funkiness!
Hey Drifand! Thanks for the helpful overview! Looks like im getting me a Takara RDM-3

-
I don't, but that set was priced about the same as the previous Scopedog/Fatty set, and they barely have any paint on the outside.
Hey thanks for the heads up! I'm also considering the Takara RDM-03
Are these any good?
