Are they still selling the Vermillion squad bundle?  (Max 1A, Kakazaki 1A, Hikaru 1J) in a pack?  The sale price was pretty good.

I did also have them add the Super Armor on their site just recently.. so it is there.

100% agreement with this... I ship regularly all over the US..  in my last 4 or 5 shipments only 1 made it by its estimated delivery date.. and I have a package just lingering in Phoenix currently for about 6 days... 

Update for those hunting these things at Target..  I was able to locate the remaining 4 lions.     Target does not list these on their website, and target employees are pretty much useless.   However they are there if you look.      Just an FYI.

I kinda wished they made a TV version of the MM Makuros (however it was spelled) cause it would fit the theme of my Pachislo machine more.. lol

Seriously my plan was still to display some of these KC SD Valks on the Pachi.. probably most prominently the early TV series valks as you see them in the cut scenes.    But I only have so much real estate on top of a Pachislo machine.. so I could see 2 or 3 tops..  I will need to find someplace else for the others.

@M'Kyuun   yes very good point.. landing gear!  that is probably the only drawback I can see about these guys..  even if they couldn't fit retractable gear in there.. some peg in options would work as well..    At least make it easier to display in fighter mode.

Seriously.. these ugly chunky beasties are pretty neat.    I have several HCM versions from the 80's  and I enjoyed those as well.   $10 says others are grabbing these as well and just ashamed to admit it because "Robotech" is on the box.... bah

.. not to mention you can get a good collection of them and not need to mortgage your house...

I reached out to Kitz Concept support to see if I could locate a Fokker 1S since the 2ndary market has them going for $200 plus (HAHA... no).   According to them they are bringing out more Fokker 1S SD valks later this year and to keep my eyes open..    I also got them to add just the super packs to their site..

.... and I just ordered 4 sets...

I feel like the odd one out here with just 1 VE-1 coming from HLJ.

I'd like to see more TV and DYRL VF-1s.. just not all at once   I just caught up with the Hi Metal -R releases don't wanna get buried again.

Located a Voltron Classic Black Lion locally @ Target  these things are apparently sorta hard to locate right now, one of the employees told me someone came in and bought up most of what was put out.   Scalpers?   I just want 1  complete set... lol

BBTS Finally delivered my KC Hikaru TV Super 1S..  need to find a Fokker 1S now.. grr.

And my Hi-Metal R collection has finally caught up!  Fokker DYRL Strike,  Hikkaru DYRL Strike (duplicate), CF-1A (#3), and Regult (duplicate).

Anyone following the Live action version of Boku dake ga Inai Machi (Erased)?     I caught the first episode on Netflix,  has potential.

... And BBTS finally shows up!  

Looks like I still need to locate a 1S for Fokker... this one is clearly labeled Rick Hunter and the little pilot inside is painted in Hikaru's TV Helmet scheme.

Also interesting to note that the Fast packs are not bundled together in the box like M&M.

I was able to find the Playmates black lion @Target but nothing else..   Tried some of the voice options and it sounds pretty corny..    The size of the lion is huge.. way bigger then my Matchbox Voltron III black lion.  

I'm gonna have to keep my eyes open for the Classic Voltron at Walmart or Target.. looks pretty neat.    I picked up the Remake Netflix Voltron for my nephew over the holidays and was pleasantly surprised at the price point and what he got..      Of course he is also 9 years old and Voltron probably already met his match... lol

Good Question...   The build quality from what I have seen with the Super Max 1J puts it on par with the Hi-Metal R valks.

Diecast content is in the legs, and chest area.. swing bars are diecast.   Height is about 5 inches without fast packs and about 6-6.5 inches with fast packs.

Things worth noting..  2 heads.. one for transformation purposes,  one for Battroid..  In Battroid there are gap pieces.. chest area and neck and shoulders that need to be removed for transformation..  I do not believe they serve any other purpose other then in Battroid mode.     Head lights up..  Gunpod lights up..  Fast pack boosters light up both via the thrusters, and when missles are inserted the missles light up.      Panels do come off on the fast packs.. and while not as detailed as my 1/48s they look pretty good. 

I also like the Panel lining which is already pre-done.  

I like the fact that I can order the whole set.. for less then an Arcadia 1/60 from the HK site currently.     I have nothing against the Arcadia line.. I just can't justify a car payment for 2 valks..  I specifically got out of Macross collecting 15+ years ago because of pricing.   The Hi Metal-R bug hit me mostly because the cost was reasonable again and they looked damn cool..

I just ordered the CF 1A TV w/fast packs to round out my collection of these beasties.. 

And BBTS apparently sent my Fokker Super 1S TV...  but getting to the east coast apparently takes longer then HK to the US.. 

And my 2nd HK order beats out BBTS..     Max Super 1J and Kakazaki TV 1A.

I haven't opened them all up just the Max Super 1J..  and I am impressed with what I see at this point.    I don't care that Robotech is on the box, and I think these guys may have just one upped the Bandai/Yamato/Arcadia toys just by trying something new.     One of the things I just noticed is that KC sent me baggies of mini UMM-7 missle pods that are not in any of the pictures.. so I can change the hard points from AMM-1, and RMS-1,  or any load out I wish.   The little pilots on the inside stand out, and the light up gimmick is silly but not a detraction..    Bonus since I got all of them for less then the cost of an Arcadia 1/60 valk.

On a side note... why is it faster to get an item from HK.. then getting an item from BBTS?   I don't really order from BBTS so maybe this is not the norm.. but seriously?  They are in the USA.. and it's been 2 weeks!

Shakugan no Shana is on my list of Favorite anime series...   the problem with the 3rd season was the disconnect between the end of the 2nd Season and what happens at the start of the 3rd..   It's definately worth reading up on.. they jump around alot in the anime and leave some major plot elements out which makes the 3rd season seem really weak in comparison.   Read the LN's seriously.. and the ending will make sense then!

Sure...  once I get a chance to actually open them up and tinker with them.    I just ordered  the CF 1A with super packs which is the only one I didn't have,   so I like them enough already to get all of them.

#14 & #15 of the Hi-Metal line R series for me..   Both are Duplicates..

Also got so of my first wave of the SD Valks from KitzConcepts line.   More of these coming.. and  I am glad I pulled the trigger on these they are rather neat.
