Got my DYRL Hikaru 1A Super last night from HLJ,  I haven't done anything but ogle the box art yet...  

well I paid more then I should have but I ended up snagging one.   Let's hope they make a YF-21 next.  

Too early to say in or out, I would want to see some better pictures.     I definitely have more interest in this then I do in Frontier or Delta stuff..    YF-21 next maybe?

It was dubbed?    We are talking about the recent Remake correct?       Last I heard funimation has the rights to release it,   since the original license holder failed miserably at it.

@sh9000   so out of all the releases so far which one is your favorite?       After sorting through all the releases,  I am tossed up.. either the VF-2SS or the Monster.

I agree..   the movie was pretty good as well.     They did leave the ending wide open considering Marika is just starting her senior year when the movie ends.

As for Pachinko machines.. they have many anime theme'd ones..   and I have several.. this and CR Fever Haruhi Suzumiya were my latest.

I recently picked up a Bodacious Space Pirates Pachinko machine..

Been some time since I watched that one.. so rewatched.. now onto the pachinko machine!

Yes..

The first episode was out on the 11th I believe.

I'm just too new to this series to justify an $800 buy in.     That is an expensive box set..   and I would be willing to get a regular edition if they ever decide to put it out.

@Noriko Takaya   Have you shot this yet?   I don't know how long the barrel is on this upper but I had to get a stronger recoil buffer to account for the 10.5" barrel on the upper I built my SBR on.    I also needed to make some tweaks dealing with the gas system in order to get the gun to cycle reliably with a suppressor.. if you ever decide to go down that route.

I still don't quite understand how that doesn't constitute an SBR in that setup... but if the ATF lets it slide.. then do it!  lol

Robotech has literally never been less relevant.

All the franchise has had going for it for years has been the lawsuits it's involved in.  The last serious effort to continue the Robotech series was the Shadow Chronicles OVA that ended up canceled after just one episode... and that was eleven years ago.  What little they've done since doesn't even bear mentioning.

Simple answer..  because it was a Gateway for people like myself from that time period..     As mentioned in the videos,  it did something no other "cartoons" were doing.

And was the jump off point of many people into anime.      

I don't really have a problem with Robotech.. it's HG that is where my anger goes..

And to be honest.. if they weren't such  douchnozzles on blocking the import of anything Macross (especially back in the late 90's early 00's)  I probably wouldn't care enough to post anything.

Interesting seeing a Norinco M-14 clone..   I am assuming that one is chambered in .308?     One of my range buddies has one from the 90's when Chinese stuff was still allowed in the USA.   It was no Springfield Armory build but it wasn't garbage either.

I have read now that Norinco makes an M1A chambered in 7.62x39..   that would be an interesting purchase actually.

And speaking of M-14s  I just picked up a JRA 19" Paratrooper build.  It seems to be pretty solid,  it's just wood and steel,  so no fancy chassis or glass. 

Just finished Re:Creators,   It was definitely binge worthy..   and is another series I'd pick up if it ever gets released in the US.

@Shizuka the Cat   Good luck with the productive part..  I specifically swore off Macross World at work..    I'm still not productive though... lol

I binge watched the rest of the Live Action Erased today..   All in all I liked it..  I still think the Manga is the best rendition... but the Anime and this are tied.   And to be honest at least the live action series followed the manga to its conclusion.

Now I moved onto ReCreators..  episode 4 currently.

I got my J and S type F-14s from Calibre wings in yesterday.     These look really cool.    And if the numbering can be believed I scored 001 of 2000 on the J type.

I so hope they do a Low Viz version of this plane with the UN Spacy logos.. I'd be all over that.    Next up is to add the RMS Style AIM-54s to my VF-103 F-14.. lol

I also received my order today from BBTS  both the J and S variants.. 

If the numbering can be believed I got 001/2000 of the J variant..   lol

Date A Live.. had potential,  but the 2nd season did not hold upto the same level as the 1st..  and the Movie just made things even murkier..

Kurumi is best girl.. though... lol

I am at the end of a Netflix title  AICO. Incarnation or something..   it's actually pretty good.     I have 2 more episodes to go and unless it screws the pooch I'd recommend it.

Yea Violet Evergarden has went from a mundane title to a kick you in the Feels series as of late.

I also just wrapped up Ancient Magus Bride..

Everything was wrapped up pretty neatly..  I think the 2nd season kinda got off to a stumble.. but it recovered.    I'd recommend it..  at minimum the 1st season.

@ZorClone  That is awesome..   Diamonds QA on these ships is all over the place.   I have both the HD 1701 and the TOS Bird of Prey..   I have yet to take the BOP out of the box but your picture makes me want to setup a display shelf. 

I just finished Kiddy Girl-And..  very meh sequel.     Some characters from Kiddy Grade carry over.. but the plot never really gets off the ground.    I enjoyed Kiddy Grade back in 2003, and looking back on that probably with nostalgia colored glasses.

No real payoff in the ending.. and very flat characters with no development beyond the halfway point of the series.

So meh..
