  2. Well, KO's of Arcadia VF-1 valks. I think they are still on eBay, and some third-party retailer sites. They are sold under the Valkyrie Factory "brand". More recently, there's another "brand" called FuGu that solicited a VF-1S (presumably from the same Arcadia KO mold) in Jetfire colors to compete with KitzConcept's "God of Flame" VF-1S that tries to attempt the same color scheme. That's garnered some added attention lately.
  3. 6 parts……I had a tough time in the first part as well. The second one really did a number on me. It took three attempts to finish it off. It did feel like less slomo, but I think that’s because there was less action going on. It’s mostly farming. They knew the enemy was coming in like 5 days and spent most of it farming and the last two days on preparing farmers for battle. I don’t know how these idiots lost and how they dug those tunnels in a couple days and still had time for hair cuts. I liked the tanks, until they sucked and that didn’t take too long. The entire highly trained extremely well equipped enemy just sucked against a handful of farmers with a trap so obvious the enemy figured it out before the battle and still failed somehow
  4. I mentioned that as well. I think this at least gives hope for what sounded a bit far fetched as far a quality with armor in a tv series or straight to streaming movie. Visually I think the Warhammer project will look great, but we’re gonna have to wait and see about the story itself.
  5. Today
  6. On a side note Fallout's VFX reminds me of The Boy's (especially the gory violence FX) so I wonder if we'll see similar qaulity in Henry Cavill's Warhammer 40K series? The Brotherhood of Steel's knights costumes are probably a good test for Space Marine's armor I wonder too.
  7. The two seater vertical position cockpit, hikaru, minmay and the kid figures sold me on this kit 🤣
  8. Watched Rebel Moon Part 2 as well. Whereas the Part 1 was almost in the realm of 'so bad its good', this one is just a snooze because everything is just predictable. Kinda thought there's less use of non-sensical slow motion though, but man the scenes that's supposed to evoke emotions are really cringey. I haven't this much urge to look away at some of them since seeing Anakin & Padme rolling on the grass. It's mind boggling how they can even announce that it's gonna be a total 6-parter flick.
  9. Basically a one-man operation, with terrible communication based on quick search: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/sidesevenexports.com https://www.reddit.com/r/Gunpla/comments/xgbmrm/psa_dont_buy_from_side_seven_exports_they_will/
  10. Robot Damashii <Side AC> IB-07: SOL 644 / AYRE (Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon) September 2024 Release April 26, 2024 Preorder Starts Y18150 / Y16500
  11. The heck??? Waitlisted on Tuesday and now Terry has unboxed one copy for show... Plus pricing at $600 USD for Fleabay!!!
  12. Looks great By the way, it’s up for preorder tonight at the usual places
  13. A book is a different thing that relies heavily on imagination. A show is something that we have to be shown to be satisfied, especially when the entire buildup of the show leads to something that is only hinted at with many things left unfinished. When the kids were looking at the helmet and talking about its damage and just showing the main character rolling in bed without showing that great battle was a giant middle finger to the audience. It reminded me of the episode that made me stop watching startrek DS9 when a bunch of Klingons were going into an epic battle and instead of the epic battle it cut to them singing and partying. I think I stopped liking Startrek for a long time after that
  14. Good news! I found a much better Logan model... at half the price! 😊 This one's not quite perfect, either -- it's fighter-mode only, and entirely lacks a cockpit -- but I can use MaxLab's "Wolverine" cockpit and articulated limbs to Frankenstein a much more accurate kit.
  15. Well, the alternative would be for the show's producers and writers to pull a GoT season 8 and just make stuff up; thereby guaranteeing that they bollocks thing up and end up pleasing almost no one. That they respected and adhered to the source material is a glowing testament to their restraint and deference to the book's author... a rare and commendable thing this day and age.
  16. Painted VF-1D battroid pics now up.
  17. I did read the book, but saw the original many years ago and have long forgotten it. I think that’s a poor excuse for a terrible final couple of episodes.
  18. It’s Zack Snyder, so it has a god chance at being terrible. He should probably go back to doing zombie stuff, his other things are pretty bad. Hopefully this doesn’t rely on slomo, although the animators would probably appreciate it if it did
  19. Overall was a pretty good episode Rogue showing off a bit was fun and definitely looked better than her action scenes in the original episodes. Wolverine still has a weird sounding voice in these episodes. But at least there’s more Nightcrawler, just too bad they had to kill off a member of the team to add him in
  20. I thought the idea is that after WW2 they diverted from our reality by focusing their effort on developing better nuclear fission reactors instead of going the integrated circuit route our reality took. So it’s not like they were stagnant for a long time. All their electronics look a bit old fashioned (i.e. CRT based) but powered by mini nuclear reactors. It was how the game designers envisioned in the late 90s (at a time were the whole flat LCD screen in your hand aesthetic wasn’t a thing) to signify that the Fallout universe is different from ours but still familiar and the franchise ran with it
  21. Yes. It's a scene from the Gundam Seed Freedom movie where Destiny Spec II charges Force Impulse Spec II during battle thru it's 'Deuterion Beam Energy Transfer System' from its forehead.
