  3. Thank you! I'll check it out 🙏♥️
  4. Some more great images of the Tamashii Tokyo store display by Hobby Watch...(Google Translate) The "HI-METAL R Votoms" series will feature merchandise based on the episodes. A corner was set up at the Akihabara UDX venue of "TAMASHII NATION 2025" to display the latest items from the "HI-METAL R" series. All five items on display are from the "Armored Trooper Votoms" series. Up until now, the "Votoms" series developed in "HI-METAL R" has released rival-type mechs based on the concept of "confrontation," with the exception of the first release, "Scopedog Red Shoulder Custom." From now on, this will be reset, and starting with "HI-METAL R Scopedog" to be released in 2026, a BANDAI SPIRITS representative said that they are planning mechs that represent each episode of the TV series. In addition to the above-mentioned Scope Dog, "Udo Arc" at the beginning of the TV series, "Brutish Dog" and "Scope Dog Melkia Military Equipment" are also being planned. The former is a Perfect Soldier Fianna machine, characterized by its pink coloring and armament equipped on its right arm. The product being planned will be able to be posed by holding it in front and holding the magazine like a stock. ATM-09-ST (Scopedog-Melquiyan Army) The latter is the long-awaited purple Scope Dog of the Melchia regular army, and it also comes with the long-awaited parachute backpack and log gun. The parachute backpack is quite large, but it has been designed so that it can be posed while wearing it. ATM-09-GC (Brutishdog) ATH-064 (Berserga WP) And from the "Kumen Arc," Belserga, which is likely to become the highlight item of the series, is currently being planned. The prototype on display beautifully reproduces the sturdy body, which is different from the Bloodsucker, another H-class AT released in "HI-METAL R." Belserga's trademark pile bunker on its left arm and swampy clung on its legs have of course been designed as movable gimmicks. The metallic gold colour of the ATH-064 (Berserga WP) really makes the unit stand out! Optional armament set for SCOPEDOG In addition to these units, the "HI-METAL R Scope Dog Weapon Option Set" was also on display. This is equipment common to all Scope Dogs in the series, and includes a solid shooter, pentatrooper, shoulder missile gun pod, round mover, and a base with the logo. The solid shooter and round mover have a different coloring than those included with the "HI-METAL R Scope Dog (Space Combat Version)," and are designed to match the normal Scope Dog. ATM-09-ST (Scopedog) February Release The whole display.... The lineup of the "HI-METAL R" "Votoms" series has suddenly expanded. With the exception of the "HI-METAL R Scopedog," the release dates and prices of the items are still in the planning stages and specifications may be subject to change, but we look forward to the announcement of each item's details. (C) Sunrise I'm sure Hobby Japan will soon release detailed images of the three new V.O.T.O.M. on there site.. 🤗
  5. I sure hope so. My heart just fluttered.
  6. Today
  7. You rock! Thanks a bunch.
  8. I usually let Vallejo paints cure for three days. This allows them to fully dry out and have full adhesion to the surface. If you are planning to use lighter fluid it could get under the paint when cleaning. Use a toothpick dipped and soaked in lighter fluid. Using a cotton swap dipped in lighter fluid can help. Just brush away the edge first and then work the edge are from the surface you want to preserve. Some of the lighter fluid get on your paint, don’t worry. Leave it alone and let it dry.
  9. just fyi. Seems HLJ has lowered their duties-rate to 20% (7960y) as of this posting: Not sure when they started doing that, but it was at 30% before (11940y)...
  10. How long is the cure time? I need to put a solvent AKA lighter fluid on the surface to clean it up and hope it doesn’t dissolve the paint. I might do a test tonight and see what happens. Not sure if they play well together.
  11. I do. What can I help you with?
  12. Hey thanks so much. Means a lot. 👍 Do you happen have any experience with Vallejo acrylics?
  13. That came out great. Those pieces are tiny and your work shines through.
  14. Pedanticness train pulling into the station! I didn't say that no CF model has had "visor"-type optics... I said: While most CF variants tend to have "monoeye face" with a single large polarized cover over a multitude of optics and other sensors, there are a few out there that go against the grain. The VF-4A has a visor-type monitor turret, as does the VF-5000B Star Mirage, and the VF-14A Vampire. The VF-171 Nightmare Plus is also a visor type, as does the Sv-262Ba. ... if not for the VF-5000B's presence on that list, I would say all of the exceptions are General Galaxy's fault.😆 (Well, the Macross II Valkyries all go in on visor types too... since they've largely gotten rid of the A-type head in that timeline as of the 2070s or so.)
  15. Ms. Yutani gained possession of all the Yautja tech retrieved after the events of AvP:R and The Predator (as depicted in both films), long before the Weyland-Yutani merger even happened... and of course Peter Keyes (in Predator 2) explicitly explains everything the CIA had known since 1987.
  16. I went rouge and just went to it. I think for its tiny size it will look just fine. I am unsure how long it takes for Vallejo to cure, but I need to hit this with some lighter fluid to clean up the wash that I put down before painting so the edges look tighter. I may also add a very thin black wash to edges once I’m done and then gloss it up. I think it’s looking more natural than the decal. Not necessarily better but I like it.
  17. Looks like it's out in Hong Kong. https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=pfbid02oM78cKjwJzeBwq9wmqFJCYAeQ4gmXfnY7pLSNmNYUZFD3ZpWgtWhSaKPovc6GSxKl&id=100064129081737
  18. Yah, I needed an Itano Circus of missiles for the levels of stupidity I was dealing with.
  19. The Boston Dynamics guys are all wiping huge beads of sweat from their foreheads-NOT! I like how the robot was still shambling after its faceplant- like an old wind-up toy. The sheet of shame came a bit too late. 🤣 Nice of the Russian censors to allow this bit of failure to go out unto the world.
  20. damn... if it weren't for tariffs i'd order one. looks good.
  21. I mean, I've done it before... But yeah, I don't think I'd do it now. It's far enough away that I'd have to charge my Taycan at least twice to make the round trip, and that's assuming that I just went to Microcenter and back. EDIT: Oh, sweet, I just looked and it looks like they opened one closer. Now I'd only have to drive two and a half hours.
  22. Really liking the colors & the greenish tint. Thinking it’ll look great next to the old Yammie 1/48s low visibility ones.
  23. The gun needs to be spring loaded & shoot the desk up with plastic bullets!
  24. Try liquid mask. It’s great for those complex and tight spaces. Use a brush and toothpick to apply it.
  25. I kinda want to see more pics and poses before making a judgement. There are things I like, but just want to see a better set of pics
  26. Honestly, the wash makes a great outline and will definitely simplify things. and that polycap issue sure is awkward.
