  1. Past hour
  2. @tekering thank you! That means a lot coming from a builder with your skill level! The beat up Bug looks incredibly life like! Great job!
  3. Today
  4. Adding convincing dents to the diecast Beetle frame turned out to be impossible, so I compensated by denting the hell out of the bumpers. 😊 Two bullet holes were added at the client's request... ...as was the "spray-painted" graffiti on the hood. I'm sure you'll get the reference... but who among you recognizes the licence plate number? πŸ˜‰ Dude, that detail is INSANE. 🀯
  5. It's MicroCenter's in-house brand SI. At least they use off-the-shelf parts (you can make out the Lian-Li AIO cooler and the PNY Geforce card in the pic). If it wasn't for RAM prices exploding out of control...
  6. Caught that last night. It was pretty good. One part had me perplexed about the presenter as he didn’t realize toys yellowed and sometimes look to be Frankensteined. Overall, a great and fun watch.
  7. @Seto Kaiba thank you for providing all those great details. Like a bonehead I totally missed the DYRL β€˜84 Summer marking. Thank you.
  8. Never heard of Power Spec, but that's like $200 less than I spent for half the hard drive and half the RAM on a Asus G7 earlier this year.πŸ€”

    1/55's revisited

Am exzellent overview for Chunky Monkey collectors with transforming information as well as how to add the accessories! πŸ‘πŸ»
  10. As much as the completionist in me wants a PF VT-1, I feel like the Bandai DX kind of satisfied that itch for me. Wouldn't mind picking one up if it existed, but it's not a priority anymore.
  11. That'll be an inexpressible comfort to my postman when I inevitably order 3 copies. He'll only get a mild hernia dragging the box to my door this time. I'm hoping they include some of the stuff from the lesser-covered games like M3... like the unconventional enemy mecha.
  12. I ran into Hobby Lobby yesterday to grab some small cheap wood bases and brass rods and on the model isle I was impressed myself with the amount of Bandai Star Wars and Gundam stuff they had. They didn't have that GIANT Tie but ohhh man, if they had, my wife would have been asking me "WTH is THAT?!" when I came back out to the truck! πŸ˜‚
  13. I liked the Thor one, although it seems to get a lot of hatred. I don’t really think it was a great movie, just a bit better than ok . The last Ant Man one on the other hand was kinda skippable, but not nearly as bad as some of the others like the Black Panther sequel or the Eternals and I kinda like that last Spider-Man less and less
  14. They're actively restoring all three. That's not officially announced, but it's happening.
  15. LOL πŸ˜‚. @Papa Rat Not sure about a good beginner boat kit, I'd say go Tamiya and not Trumpeter though out of the gate to get your feet wet no pun intended... Over here today I finished up the Academy 1/144 B2. Great little kit. I could have done better on the painting but I wanted to build it up quick. Enjoy the pics! SR-71 is finished and will be on its base tomorrow with pics forthcoming!
  16. For the other films - IF this one does well the others will be done as well, most likely on their 50ths.
  17. Just in case if people didn't read the article.
  18. If you need 64 gb of ramπŸ€” 2,500 stopped by the Microcenter in Santa Clara nothing i wanted at the moment.
  19. Yesterday
  20. ^ +1 please Arcadia
  21. Would love if they re-issued the VF-0A ghost ...
  22. I was able to get one of these - yay! Expensive AF. Damn tariffs.
  23. Saw this in person and yeah it’s way off. Not interested anymore
