Here are the first pictures of the mock-up of the Hasegawa VF-1 1/72 scale plastic model kit. One thing which seems odd to me is that the nose just in front of the cockpit seems to be much too flat. Hikaru's VF-1A model from theDYRL movie is due to be released in November, with the VF-1J from the series following in December.
Also attached is the latest Yamato advertisement for the YF-21 toy, also due out in November. Note the advertisement clearly shows the opening cockpit detail. A nice underbelly shot also shows the position of the landing gear.
