http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...5956508311&rd=1

he bought them from another seller on ebay: ihatearmy i believe he bought like 4-6 of them. i guess he paid too much :) ihatearmy also had the Devastator statue inspired by the DW comics. too bad he won't release it as a resin kit. the paint job on his Devastator statue is just awful.

ebay's stupid rules

Ebay is utterly ridiculous sometimes. I had a couple of auctions for Japanese N64 games cancelled because I mentioned that you'd have to have a modified N64 to play them, the reason for cancelling was something to the effect of selling or providing information about 'mod chips.'

Ignoring for a second that the N64 doesn't use a mod chip. <_<

Actually that might be Gakken Legoiss... small type for the Robocrap... I mean Robotech line... If that was still mint... and that's a big IF, they would have fetched a pretty penny upto almost $70.00. The original Legoiss licsence (non-Robotech label) type from Gakken can almost go twice as much.

I highly doubt this toy is in great shape and it's more than likely just a beat up Robotech toy, either way $15 isn't much money at all. I'm on a gakken quest so for my current project I consider it money well spent. Now, the $66 I just spent on an MISB version of the toy was way too much... but oh well.

Remember this is E(vil)BAY, where a Toynami can fetch almost $300.00.

here's a classic auction. I wonder if the seller might be making money off the shipping. I do have to wonder just what the point of BIN is though. Doesn't it cost extra to offer?

BIN $.01

buy it now does not cost extra, if you are offering the item at a fixed price. Like say $4.99. Its only extra if you have an auction price and a seperate buy it now price, like if your starting your auction at $4.99, with a seperate buy it now for $9.99. Its like 5 cents more to add a buy it now, or maybe 10 cents more now because of the price change.

As for this guy making money off the shipping. I dont think its worth my time to go through all the trouble of taking the picture, typing up my description, and packing the item, just to get $2 out of the deal. I mean, think about it. Its .35 cents just to list your item, and maybe 1 cent of the end of auction fees. So if it sells, your -.36 cents right off the bat. Then, hes going to ship for $4.99, if he goes priority, thats at least $3.85. So $3.85 + .36 cents = $4.21. If hes getting $5 for the item, that means that when its all said and done, he will profit, .79 cents. I think I could find .79 cents in my couch or in my car much faster, then to go through all the trouble that he did to launch that auction. Unless hes going to ship it first class instead of priority, then he will make a few dollars of the shipping, but still not worth the time. An if you really think about it, he had to have paid for the item at one time, so even if he only paid a dollar, that means that in the long run, he is losing money on this auciton. So why even do the auction. It would be better to throw the figure in the trash, or even shoot it up with your bb gun. Maybe let your dog chew it or glue some fur to it so your cat can play with it.

Look at this one!

MPC Alpha

I mean ...insert something profound here..

Granted it states something like getting four of them in a case..so that would explain the pricing ...but its only mentioned once ..

Very Very Od

it does say sealed case in the title... but isn't 70X4=280... so how much is really being saved?

oh yeah... if you haven't checked the links in BoBe-Patt's sig yet.... DO IT ;)

Isn't this just a red alert without decals?????
