I come across stuff that is makes me laugh me head off periodically. I figure I'm not the only one who finds such auctions so why not start a post we can all laugh about.

first off is http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...gory=16467&rd=1

What can I say but that the seller is on crack, but if it sells I might try to do the same LOL.

someone pointed out in another post people who claim "I AM NOT A COLLECTOR OF ACTION FIGURES"... and has a "GAKKEN MACROSS ROBOTECH ALPHA FIGHTER" as the title :lol:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...gory=16467&rd=1

something Non-Macross that I've been looking for on card, which this isn't, but funny enough to have you guys look at...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...egory=2472&rd=1

So u guys see anything funny? I'll update as I stuble across them.

It not that bad he is selling 24 of them a about $6.98 a piece. Which is not too bad. Unless you are going to resell them what is the point. I have 5 of these pieces of crap and am done with them.

He neglected to add CHOGOKIN POPY TRANSFORMERS JETFIRE.

I'm not sure this is a put-on. I think some sellers do a little research and then copy each other's use of keywords without really understanding what the heck they're talking about. When I first started looking for Macross stuff on eBay they had me thinking that CHOGOKIN POPY was a Japanese term meaning "action figure" or something like that.

I like how he calls them "clones," but I suppose that's better than "bootleg." Maybe if someone has a big family, it'd make cheap Christmas presents for 24 of your favorite nieces and nephews...

I need to stop responding to all of Kanata's threads. <_<

Poor spelling yet still has bids ...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=36568

too much $$$$!!!!

i have seen the GBP armor go for quite a bit on ebay but the BIN is out-of-hand!!!

also, i noticed the user changed his name....if you gotta change your name its because you're a THIEF!  no one with a good record on ebay changes their user ID because they just don't like it anymore.  same thing goes for private fb....if you got a good standing record, why hide it?

the 95.1% out of 185....that isn't that good either.  and he from macau...where is that? asian, south america?  all i know is it ain't around here which means he ain't seeing any of my money!

i would avoid this one like the plague!

As a matter of fact, Macau is right next to Hong Kong (nice gambling area, very beautiful). From the look of this auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...tegory=348&rd=1, it looks pretty good comparing to the one Monkey-Nugget was auctioning for ($460 final bid), and he's in Japan (still an Asian country - no offend to you Monkey Nugget :D ). In the Macau's auction, I'm sure someone can re-auction the Super Valk and keep the armor if he's the winner of that auction.

Peace :)

this finally arived... today! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3140197712

No communication from tehe seller at all while I was waiting. It was mailed 09/08 , after I had the wife threaten fraud charges.

Even worse is how big of a piece o' crap it was. Non matshu head lasers, touch up paint consisting of the wrong color nail polish and white out. Only usefull things were the wing and matshu back-plate, which is already on a much cleaner looking jetfire <_<

That one can't be all that absurd since two MW members (and one other person who seems to bid all the time on RT/Macross stuff) are fighting for it. Good luck, guys!

Better make that "three MW members", cause DAMN, that's the exact part I need too! You guys have no idea how long I've been waiting for something like this. Gentlemen, may the deepest pockets win. :p:lol::D

It's a 1/60. (Box design gives it away.) The high bidder has a zero feedback and recently registered; the other guy only has a 4 feedback and may be relatively inexperienced. Considering that the nonstrike version usually goes for about $30-$40, I hope the bidding is because nobody else in Australia has one for sale and not because they think it's a 1/48.
