Probably not as great as season 1's, but definitely one for the books. To be slightly off topic---HASBRO's releasing BSG 3" titanium vehicles. Does anyone know if they'll be coming out with the same die-cast toys in slightly larger scale, like what they did with ARC and DROID fighters from STAR WARS ep.III? That's one thing that always seemed funny to me is how any planetside scenes always were in the forest or downtown. And since New Caprica is supposedly uninhabited, the only scenes we'll be seeing is shantytown or forests. 379490[/snapback] Actually, no. Moore stated in the last podcast that the New Caprica situation will be resolved in the first 4 or 5 episodes of season 3, before they are back off on their way. However, she realizes that the people have chosen this planet-side fate; what choice does she have other than returning to the profession that she truly loves, which is teaching children. If these idiots ever manage to get off of the planet, Baltar will be quickly removed from office (I hope), and Roslyn shouldn't be too far from taking her old office back... One thing I though the aid person (cant remember her name) who helps Roslin before the election, I think shes a Cylon, Therree just somthing about her. Eaither that or she has big ambitions for herself. Another thing Does Adama look like a 1970`s pornstar with that tash, or is it just me ? That was the #1 question I wanted answered about what happened during the period of the year. - Really now, why did the Colonials not spend the year fortifying their position? Seems like that'd have been the first thing I'd have done even though they felt like the Cylons had moved on. - Wonder what was done about having enough Tylium to continue to power the orbiting fleet? Instead of thinking about security, he wanted them to settle down. The duty is too the people, but you are suppose to keep these people alive. simply, the hope of a new planet was a short-sighted hope. Kinda like feeling a rush, then coming out of it. They could have used this planet as a rest stop. Catch their breath, get some supplies, restock on some provisions they lost with when Cloud 9 and the surrounding ships went up in flames and then get moving. Lots of people say You Can't Go Home Again was the homage to that episode but it was never the intention and the writers of that episode never saw the 1980 episode. Yeah, the DVD's are only anamorphic widescreen...it has never been shown otherwise...well, Sci -Fi shows it in a 4:3 letterbox. There is no 4:3 "full screen" version.
