I recently fulfilled a childhood dream of mine in getting a 1/55 VF-1S Strike. Though couple of things. 1 I was VERY careful, but the Strike cannon snapped as soon as I tried to clip it in. Anyone ever recast Strike or Fast Pack parts? 2. Anyone point me to an old school gallery for the Bandai 1/55 VF-1S Strike? I googled and I know like 15-20yrs ago there were tons that I drooled over but they seem sparse now. Curious where some of the stickers are placed. 3. anyone have a scan of the actual sticker sheets? Thanks! 1. I broke two like that just recently. Tried Crazy Glue. Broke again. I'm waiting for some Devcon plastic weld from Amazon right now. The guys in the workshop section recommended it. A trick to putting it together without breaking it is to loosen the booster screws so it splits in half, putting the cannon in and then cinching the booster back together. The tabs don't have to flex nearly as much that way. These are getting old and brittle though. Some may not be able to be saved. Another board member and I are working on scanning the Strike Parts in and then printing them in resin. They will not be 100% faithful to the original design. We're modding them to look a little better, be more durable, etc. Something to consider. 2. Dunno 3. From what I understand those stickers are repops of the originals. The ones missing actually came on the Valk? That project was done with @DYRL VF-1S here on the board. He knows the details better than I. These are the original decals. 4. As far as I know you have two options when it comes to a red heat shield. Paint it or another stand in or go the clip on route. I haven't seen anyone doing repops of the canopy. The white for the UN Spacy and chest Skull aren't solid white so that was a disappointment. Also, the sets are missing the factory labels like the VF on the feet and UN Spacey on the shin Fast Packs. Yea, now that you pointed out I can kind of see it though it is pretty obscured; it still would be nice for a clear pic of the front boxart for clarity.
