While he never rose to the level of fame of Syd Mead or Ralph McQuarrie, his iconic contributions to 80s SF milestones can't be rated him enough. How Mr. Cobb isn't as well known as Syd Mead, or Ralph McQuarrie is beyond me. He did so much to influence or pop culture. Alas, another tragic loss of a great talent.
