I am an original owner of a Blue Toynami Alpha. I haven't had a problem with the hands yet. It is however very floppy and hard to stand without any assistance. Has everyone had problems with the hands? I am curious how prevalent that issue is.

I have 4 of the Toynami Alpha's and all of my hands are cracked or crumbled, horrifying QC on those parts.

Haven't touched my Toynami Alphas in years. Blue one was missing a thumb I think after about 5 minutes and got left in fighter mode. Red one is in gerwalk and green is in battroid, all with digits still attached. I'm afraid to breath on them however...

Hopefully one of the 3d printer gurus can make some hands

Pretty sure replacement hands are already available on Shapeways BUT replacing them is a bit invasive. The hands weren't a QC failure, they were a materials failure (Aoshima fixed it). Toynami went with hands made of something very akin to rubber which simply tears around the pin that connects everything.

I tried to transform my blue Toynami from fighter mode and busted the chest/cyclone store tab holding it in (last thing I expected to have a problem with). Returned it to fighter mode and now I don't change them.

I got a set of those replacement hands when they first came out, not perfect yet a millions times more sturdy than the Toynami made hands.

I'm 99% sure these were the replacement hands that Veef made for the Legioss. Looks like the ones that I have,  https://www.shapeways.com/product/F4U7Z9D7M/leg-hand-trigger?optionId=43830261&li=shops

I thought Sentinel pushed the release date back to July months ago...

Realistically, I don't think it will be released until around the end of year.

Friends, I share with you a work in progress that I am doing.

There are some renderings in cellshading and screenshots of viewport to show the wireframe.

I have in mind to print it on a 3d printer, but I still have not defined the scale.

I think it would be great 1/12, for the riobots, but I still have to finish it.

What do you think?

Thank you and Enjoy!

What software did you draw that with? Did you build it all by hand? Was it scanned in somehow?

I work in 3dsmax, model and renderings was made in 3dsmax2018.

Did you build that model from scratch?

Yes! I builded the model with the original modelsheet of mospeada, but I drawed a left View of the truck. I need adjust some dimentions yet.

That's a lot of work. I'm impressed!
