Ad Astra

Recommended Posts

If you found Gravity, First Man and Interstellar too artsy-fartsy, here's James Gray's Brad Pitt vehicle that puts the Hero back into the astronaut, like those good ol' russian movies do.

They even managed to put an effin' car chase in there. IN SPACE!

I have to say that the concept for this movie sounded much better than what we see here, maybe it is just a really bad trailer.

I watched this trailer solely because of this line and was disappointed to see it was moon buggies on the moon and not, like, everyone trying to pass Starman's Tesla.

Looks awesome, and now that PItt is trying to kill it for having too much "Toxic Masculinity" I am all in.

Um, not sure how you read that, but he said the movie deals with toxic masculinity, not that it "has too much" toxic masculinity... Big ol' whoooosh moment there, I'm afraid.

Did anyone bother to watch this? The reviews make quite a Flopnik of it.

That sounds like me after watching any film involving firearms or Japanese sword arts.

I'm pretty sure I'm not smart enough to dislike Ad Astra, lol!
